That’ll put a (small) dent in the soon-to-be-former Mrs. Bozos’ settlement.

The Sandman kid makes the far left’s Hogg boy look like a retard. I hope he wins this one.

“Sandmann was not a public figure. The burden of proof for libel against a private citizen is measurably lower than for a public person. He won’t get anywhere near the $250 mil, but I hope he puts a hurt on the Bezos Lie Machine”

Never mind a private person, a MINOR. Don’t be so sure about the money. He has a long life and probably stunted career ahead, always watching his back.

Sandman = Sandmann. I’ve seen it both ways in the fake news “media”.

There are about 50 suits in the works, I believe.

He needs to sue several other people, too. Especially the ones who called for the death of the students: “put them all in the school and burn it down.”
That one could use a criminal prosecution too.

and this is just the first of many dozens of such lawsuits by Nick Sandmann’s attorney, Lin Wood.

When you slander and libel a minor, the standard is even lower. Jeff you will lose and pay his attorney fees also. Just think of it as another divorce.

Under Kentucky state law, to bring a defamation of character lawsuit, public figures must prove actual malice existed on the part of the offending party. Private figures, on the other hand, only need to prove that the defendant acted with negligence or reckless disregard for the truth.

Negligence or reckless disregard certainly happened .... I also heard somewhere that a case under the defamation law is even "easier" to make for juveniles, which Nick certainly is. Lin Wood is going to be collecting some money from some folks & I'm guessing a lot will settle.

Does that mean that we Trump Supporters could sue Jussie Smollett for defamation of character with punitive damages as a result of his hate crime against us?

Just a thought..........

Let’s aim for reachable goals...like getting Jen Rubin and Ruth ‘Battleaxe’ Marcus sacked to save on payroll.

Equitable restitution would be to seize ownership of WP and transfer ownership to Sandmann. Let him do what he pleases with it.

1/2 of Hollywood should be next. The lawyer threatened to do it, and I glad he is making good on it. As I recall a) Sandmann is a private citizen, therefore has standing for slander / b) they were given a 48 hour period to apologize for their tweets, rants and other public expressions which bullied and endangered this boy.
