Maduro is just another practitioner of the Agenda-Driven Life, and while he is no longer the leader of Venezuela, he's still helping piss on the Venezuelans, which is what his allies want him to do. The Russians were giving the late tinpot dictator Chavez a kalishnikov factory and advanced fighters, the Iranians put missiles there (obviously with some personnel), and Iran's been involved in spreading jihad through Latin America. If he gets on a plane again to go anywhere, it should just be shot out of the sky, pllt, problem solved.

Probably nearly 100% of their oil derived industry -- but I don't much care about the expropriation vs nationalization problem. Once Maduro is gone, his and Chavez' family members should not live to count all the money they've grifted. That response would work much better for investors, both now and in the future, in and out of Venezuela.

I doubt that the people of Venezuela think that -- there are bound to be a few of course, there are absurdly stupid and bigoted people everywhere -- but all the big fist regimes of the 21st century are rooted in the big fist regimes of the 20th century, and all of them use or used the same line of bull when it comes to the Jews. Stalin waved buh-bye to Soviet Jewry, doing nothing as Hitler carried out the Holocaust during WWII, but late in his life Stalin, like his Czarists antecedents, ordered what amounted to a pogrom. Jewish doctors, really? By a weird coincidence, he had a medical crisis and died early in 1953. Obviously a problem with his health care plan.
