Yup, once Doug Schoen leaves us they will have pretty much gone full Commietard.

Did not know until reading his obit that it was HIS idea for Carter to deliver that sweater speech. He should have come to Pittsburgh and had a few Irons in a bar before floating that. Was much as we all loved Fred Rogers absolutely NONE of us thought that he should ever be POTUS.

Also a pretty damned good pollster for being self-taught. I recall that four days before the 1980 election he told Carter that he would lose, and was within 1% of the actual vote totals. RIP, Pat.
