It is becoming apparent that Trump has outplayed the dems six ways to Sunday. All the poison pills dealt with; end around. Legal challenges: outmaneuvering them big time. Highlighted the issue to the American people, broke the dems and obtained obtained way more money than the $5.7B to build the wall. There will be a lot of miles built by 2020.

Eft all of them. AWARD it to Halliburton if they can do the job right.
plus the extra heads exploding would be worth it.

“It should be built by Texas companies. We deserve it.”

Yes, and no. Send the military in there - Corps or Engineers and Sea Bees, plus anyone else with the equipment to do the digging and site prep. Then send contractors in to do any parts of the job they can do faster and better than our troops. The more labor we can get done with active duty troops, the more Wall we can get built for the same price. If President Trump can cut the cost per mile in half by working as efficiently as possible, I estimate we can get half of the Wall completed for $8B:

$5B for 300 miles was the predicted cost. Cut that cost per mile in half and use $8B instead of just $5B, and President Trump can build a wall half the length of the border - and get it done this year. I don’t want a campaign issue for 2020. I want the Wall completed before the election.

The journalists at Washington Post...

The question is: 'What is worse than the journalists at The New York Times?'

Glad to hear this but we know Dems and haters of Trump will all claim he is making money off using people he knows.

I hope he does use people he knows will do proper and timely work

Trump isn't making Dems look like fools....

They don't need help, they are making fools of themselves, but Trump is helping

Trump sure pulled off another great win, when Pelosi and company were asleep at the wheel.

The fact too, that he telegraphed what he was going to do, and Congress ignored him, should play in his favor if this goes to the courts.

Smartest President in my life time, probably the smartest president of any lifetime.

Don’t know what happened to the money but they are still raising
funds for various things. New campaigns being set as we speak.

I had been following but not so much recently - it’s still getting donations, close to 21 mil now (they had to refund monies collected before a certain date due to some legal snag) and supposedly having meetings and such to see how money can legally be be used toward border, maybe on private land along border rather than public lands i think i read a week or so ago?

I’ve not kept up with their activities. A few million from them minus
their take is but a drop in the bucket. But then a bucket gets filled
a drop at a time.

Texas is going to be the harder part of the entire wall, imo. They have
the river to contend with in it’s winding, banks and canyons. The feds
most likely may have to use a condemnation process in some areas to
get the ROW.

It’s symbolic to have citizens pitch in and shows support for the effort. Look at the billionaires like Buffet and Gates who say their tax rates are too low. Why don’t they send in an extra payment? The gofundmewall is an effort of support by average citizens.

They needn’t make fools of themselves. They have already been fools for years before Donald Trump ever thought of running for POTUS. He is certainly helpful in highlighting what idiots they are.

He should hire Congressmen and FBI officials. They’re great at stonewalling things.
