We have officially reached peak P.C. insanity.
An all-female troop of ten attended a ceremony on Tuesday to be sworn-in as Boy Scouts in Arkansas.
In other words, the Boy Scouts of America have become so "inclusive" that they have basically become the Girl Scouts.
According to Texarkana Gazette, the ten girls of Troop 19, ranging from 11-17 years old, were sworn-in alongside Boy Scouts of Troop 17 at a Methodist church in Bryant, Arkansas. "The group became the first all-girls troop chartered by the Quapaw Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. The Quapaw Area Council is the largest council in the state, representing 39 counties in central and northeast Arkansas," reported the paper.
Although there is already a space for females at the Girl Scouts, the Boy Scouts have been hit with declining numbers and pressure from the political Left to open their troops up to females. Girls were "fully incorporated" into the Boy Scouts ranks as of February 1, according to The Chronicle.

Maybe some P.C. parents can go ahead and introduce the first all-male group of Girl Guides (when the scouting movement hit the U.S. the women of the U.S. demanded that they be Scouts in the first place—unlike the rest of the world).

Gee, I’ll bet the gay scoutmasters are irritated. They finally get permission to have unsupervised access to a group of young boys and it turns out they are girls? That’s like a Twilight Zone nightmare for them.

The BSA was created in the US with the noble intention of creating a venue where boys could be trained as men. That's it; that's its purpose, and it is needed so much more today than at any other time in this country's history. When you blend girls into the program, separate troops or not, you dilute that purpose. If you believe boys and girls are fundamentally different and need different training to mature, why do you think it makes sense to provide them with the same curriculum? The same values?
Unless you think as the Progressives do, that gender is fluid and interchangeable. That what's good for one is equally good for the other. That is insane.

I’m wondering if all those people making the comments about how this video brought them to tears would feel the same way if boys were being allowed to become members of some all girls organization? I know when they opened VMI to coeds there was a call to do the same to the ‘Seven Sisters’ and other all women’s colleges and there was an all out revolt by women’s group which put a quick stop to that talk. My only concern is that we have become a society where everybody gets to choose who they associate with and to have their exclusionary groups except white, heterosexual males lf any age. Boys need their own stuff too. If parents of girls find that the GSA is too left wing or not adventurous enough then take co tell and change it to something better. Don’t take the BSA from the boys and make it a girls organization.
