U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., had a fiery exchange with a reporter on Capitol Hill on Wednesday when asked to comment on the Green New Deal.
Henry Rodgers, the Daily Caller's Capitol Hill reporter, approached the senator at a subway station and asked him if he supported Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's legislative proposal.
Menendez avoided the question and asked where Rodgers worked. Rodgers said that when he told Menendez he worked for the Daily Caller, the Democrat responded by saying he would not answer any questions. And intern who was with Rodgers asked a follow-up question, and tensions apparently rose.

Well after all this isn’t a republic where there is freedom of the press.
Unless it’s a state sanctioned press.

Menendez is slowly going insane. Hope he continues on his “subway trip to lunacy”.
How about a Constitutional Amendment that elected officials are required to answer questions regarding official policies, pending legislation, legislation, reasons and results for federal involvement of anything impacting the American taxpayer and any scandal they may be involved in. And, declining comments because of an active investigation or national security is not an affirmative defense in not cooperating.
Watch for the Daily Caller to get deplatformed. It’s the Rat way of dealing with upitty reports who ask questions.
Is the Washington Post going to run another dopey commercial going after Menendez’s attack on the press.

He should have followed up with a question about how much Menendez thinks Gaia is damaged by Senators jetting around the Caribbean to have relations with underaged prostitutes.
It he wasn’t a new dealer then he wouldn’t be riding subways.

To Menendez's claim that they went out of their way to imply he had an improper relationship with a female staffer, prosecutors noted the aide stayed with Menendez at Melgen's villa twice, and åew there with the senator on Melgen's jet. Those are flights "Menendez did not pay for or report, and continued to conceal after the allegations surfaced," prosecutors said.
Soon time for the Trump team investigations to begin into the Democrat ilk.

The left can be violent, abusive, inciting hatred and attacks, and often nothing happens to them.

Actually Senator Menendez is one of the most conservative senators in the Democrat Party and he is no conservative. That tells you all you need to know about the rest of the senate democrats.
For what its worth, DUI is a driving offense in NJ, not a crime (not even a misdemeanor).

Accuracy in Media reports that the immigration “reform” bill included two “slush funds” amounting to $150,000,000 that may be supplemented with additional taxpayer dollars for years to come. These funds would go to “public or private, non-profit organizations such as La Raza, Casa de Maryland, and the American Immigration lawyers Association! .....organizations devoted to helping illegal immigrants apply for legal status.
