A now-retired agent of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency wants to see Sean Penn in jail for putting lives at risk when the actor interviewed notorious drug lord Joaquin El Chapo Guzman for Rolling Stone in 2015.
Jack Riley, 60, came close to seeing El Chapo arrested on Oct. 2, 2015, but the operation conducted by Mexican marines was interrupted when Penn, accompanied by Mexican soap opera actress, Kate del Castillo, arrived at the El Tuna compound, the New York Post reported.
"If I could get my hands on Sean Penn! Riley, a former top agent with the DEA, told the Post. The people he put at risk because of that stunt. He should be in jail.
The marines put the mission on hold so they wouldnt risk putting the celebrities in danger, according to the paper. But doing so cost authorities the element of surprise and allowed the drug kingpin to escape.

Where can I get me some of them Big Media credentials?
Of course he should but just like hillary, leftists consider him a special, protected class of person and the law does not apply.
We must stop leftists from being in power due to their selective enforcement of the law.
Some of them need to die from time to time to send the message to others that playing stupid games wins you stupid prizes.
Won’t happen . . . he’s a libtard, and they never have to worry about being indicted
Agree with the FReepers...
The jury is still out on el Chapo. Unbelievable. Hes responsible for so many deaths. Guilty.
Sean Pinhead is a disgrace to the human race.
this entire story is BS. The DEA is covering for Sean Penn to keep him from getting killed. They followed him or somehow were able to link Penn to El Chapo’s location.
Chapo’s guys know the real story. I can guarantee that Sean Penn will never “hang out” in Mexico without huge security. Right now he’ praying that “they” forget about his “coincidental” interview and the capture of El Chapo. hahahahahhaha...
Everybody is a tough guy till the Cartel chops your body apart piece by piece after they kill your entire family. The soap opera star is probably under protection for a rival cartel and maybe Sean Penn is too. He may have done a rival cartel a favor by getting El Chapo arrested, but believe me that the Chapo cartel wouldn’t mind asking Sean Penn who he contacted before the interview.
Do you want to see how it works, look at the Netflix series called Narcos-Mexico.
Mexico is now a failed state under the cartels. We are witnessing a civil war in Mexico and nobody is talking about the disaster that is about to befall us.
Yesterday and perhaps the day before, we witnessed Mexican riot police protecting border entry points from massive migrant insurgence. That is a major change from earlier.
One wonders if the new trade treaty included promises to assist the Mexican government with cartel corruption control.
To control the flow of drugs across the border, drones must wipe out cartel compounds killing hundreds there. Women and children are not exempt.
Spicoli,,,”Dude, I’m So Wasted!”
Some animals are more equal than others.
I wonder if he has spent the Reward Money he got for turning in El Chapo
Lol, I need to see that movie again!
Its all make believe
How long was the DEA “investigating” or “working with” El Chapo? Now that El Chapo is out of business, is drug crime and drug/human trafficking down in Mexico and U.S.?
One have to wonder as to whether these federal agencies are really just functioning as kingmakers and handlers for the drug crime bosses. Then, when they take town a notorious crime boss, others “magically” spring up on cue to fill the void and even expand the business. Funny how that happens.
Meet the new boss, this time even worse than the old boss.
Maybe he wasn’t even acting in that movie. Looks to be possible.
