I know the author of the letter is a lawyer, but the passage about sharing her account in emails and FB messages smacks of deception. Makes a big difference if those messages are timely or happened yesterday, and the wording fully allows the latter.
I’m leaning towards hoax on this one as well right now.
Notice too the use of “civic duty” as an explanation for coming forward. Seem familiar?
