I wore an oil absorbing matte finish application on my face as a teen because my skin was so oily (it still is.) I never considered this makeup.

No. Skin care is not make up.

Make-up is putting a nice base on so that you can have an even skin tone and feel the best you can.
Um, no? I had to do some makeup back in high school when I did theater. Even the littlest bit sucked, it felt like your face was covered in a thick paste of annoying crap, somewhat itchy, smelled funky, and it was hot. I don't know how you can feel better at all with that crap on.
