Still; I found this video to be true and valid so I shared it with quite a few people. PragerU comes out with some really good videos for sure.
It has been discussed many times here on FR; the leftists (communists) are taking over the dem party while pushing away moderates and liberals. I bet many of us here share some of the same opinions on some social issues with the traditional liberals. Probably not things like abortion and taxes but some of the more mundane social issues like making sure kids get a good education and protecting animals from the cruelty of human animals just to use two common examples.

Often during political debates I ask about my opponent’s end-goal. If their end-goal is social/communism, there is no point in discussing the topic because we could never agree.
In many cases they’ve been so busy fighting against the enemy the media has conjured, they can’t even see where they stand and can’t even answer the question with certainty.
IMHO civilized debate ended the day the ink dried on Saul Alinsky’s manuscript.
Ever since that day Liberals have been all about destroying their opponents and not debating in the arena of ideas.

So you would let the cretins who enable the invaision of America peal away portions of our country? You advocate abandoning the good Americans who live in these states? You do realize that once a country begins to disintegrate that nobody can predict where it ends right?
I think Will is a little confused on Liberals vs The Left.
Normal politics debate the means to a common goal.
Regime or Ideology politics debate the goals and at stake is the foundation of the country.
It has been a long time since we had anything like normal politics in this country. Once upon a time the United States would remain the same no matter which party was elected. That all ended about 1900 or so with Wilson and the “living Constitution” gang.
Our country has already begun that process.
The Soviet Union broke apart and separated into it component countries. Now that did not mean there were not issues. For example, Eastern Ukraine was russified during the 70 years of the USSR and now the ethnic russians in eastern Ukraine are fighting a civil war, with the help of the country of Russia, against the ethnic Ukrainian government led by Poroshenko. The taking of crimea is another example of conflict still continuing years after the break up, and I am sure there are more.
So, there were people caught on the ‘wrong side of the border’ but overall, the breakup of the Soviet Union was a net good for millions who were under the tyranny of the Russians.
If the US breaks up, I suggest people do what the Shia and Sunni did in Iraq. They swapped houses so the Shia could move to the Shia part of Iraq and the Sunni could move and live in the Sunni part.
We can not ignore the irreconcilable differences we have, just like the Sunni and Shia can not. An amicable split with some conflict is preferable to a 4 year civil war with millions dead.
The cretins are never going away. The only question is how to live with them in peace. My going in assumption by the way, is the cretins want me dead and they will use and are using the United States government and state governments to hurt, steal from and kill people like me anyway they can all the while, claiming they just want to help. They are that devious.

Unfortunately Owen is lying to himself. Liberals have always been about destroying the foundations of this country. The Overton window has just moved so far left they have dropped the pretense.
I was a little disappointed that he did not address the left’s ultimate goal.
Hitting them on gender and national values only scratches the surface, and only represents a means to their end.

Propaganda is a time proven method for doing just that... and since truth is relative in their belief system, you are only bashing your head against a brick wall trying to argue with them. In any conversation, YOUR confusion is their goal... not finding the truth.
Yes you can. Slam them first for being Haters before they can get their digs in. Then say they have an agenda of hate. Hate for Catholic Christians (Covington). Hate for Americans and a love for gangs like MS-13 who murder them. Hatred for babies they wish kill both inside and outside the womb (Northam).
Slam them for Hating small states like Rhode Island and Hawaii - taking their influence away with the Electoral College. They hate America and it's freedoms and say they want us to become like Venezuela.

I learned this at university in the 1970s: As a Christian and philosopher, I argued to arrive at mutual truth. I thus honestly considered the opposing views.
The leftists argued to destroy me and win at all costs, without ever sincerely considering my positions.
