Steve Bannon praised Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to Politico for her "combination of grit, determination, fighting spirit that you can't coach."
The praise may seem unusual, since Ocasio-Cortez is a self-described democratic socialist who decries the Trump administration, which Bannon once served in.
But other conservatives and Republicans praised her for the large platform she has built and her skill on social media.
One Republican representative told Politico: "I aspire to be the conservative AOC."
Bannon, in an interview with Politico published on Wednesday, said that Ocasio-Cortez, widely known as "AOC", has a competitiveness and ability which he admires.
"AOC has what I call 'gameness' or competitive heart — the combination of grit, determination, fighting spirit that you can't coach," Bannon said.
"You either have it or you don't, and she has it big league."

I gotta agree. AOC is a fighter. I only wish we had some conservative AOCs. It seems like Trump is all alone (probably because he is). Where are our fighters? Conservative principles are best!
She’s almost on the same level with Joe Stalin, Mao, Ho Chi Minh, Fidel Castro and Pol Pot. All she needs to do is murder a few million people to close the deal.

AOC is a loser who didn't have the intelligence and/or motivation to be successful in a couple of her small business ventures a few years ago. That's why she was working as a bartender at the age of 28 -- which isn't much to show for a degree in international relations from Boston U.
