Chump.
Do people really watch the Super Bowl halftime show?
People do.
Yep, at least until next season. I got it in good authority from a great deal of freepers that it is ok to watch the NFL now because they stopped protesting.
I never hard of Maroon 5, does have anything to do with Bugs Bunny?
Kaepernick is persona non grata; he ain't getting signed.
Now, you can still complain about individual players who get arrested, but the NFL is still big business.
As for the halftime show, I don't think anything is going to happen. When Lady Gaga both did the National Anthem and Halftime show people thought she was going to go all SJW, but she didn't. And her National Anthem performance, IMO, was even better than Whitney Houston's.
Tomorrow NFL fans, freepers included, will collectively take it up the ass. As prescribed by Roger Goodell. Enjoy.
Not this guy, I quit watching over two years ago and have not watched a Super Bowl in a long time.
I’ll do you one better. Skipping this “political” show from kick off to the end. Sponsors beware. I’ll stick to baseball, where if they start doing that, just cancel contracts and bring up minor league rs who want a chance to play ball.
SuperBowl halftime is directed at women viewers. Brainless ones, mostly.
So they can’t resist making a political statement? Stay tuned.
Colin Kaepernick was at best a journeyman quarterback, wasn’t he? They make it sound as if he was blacklisted, however, isn’t it more likely that he’s just not that appealing as a potential player to teams????
The nfl trying to get the fans back and their halftime entertainment disses the fans? Well that didnt last long. Glad Im used to not watching anyway.
NFL are traitors, thugs and cowards.
I won’t be watching but, Adam Levine is not only part of Maroon 5 and a solo artist, he is also on The Voice. He shouldn’t even think of creating or participating in any controversy. He screwed up this season, as it was. lol Yeah, I stopped watching that too and won’t go back. But, the show is a ratings draw for NBC so, I would think he would be cautious.
Death of the NFL coming. Why are they allowing this filth?
I never hard of Maroon 5, does have anything to do with Bugs Bunny?
I've often thought so. Their album "Songs about Jane" was actually pretty decent. I liked it and it's a part of my rather extensive playlist. After that, not nearly as impressive. The frontman for the group, Adam Levine has been a 'coach' on the TV show "the voice" since its inception, and he seems to be moderately talented, though not nearly as much as he thinks. Similarly, his opinion of his own opinion is a bit above what a duly humble person's might ought to be, hence his foray here into political issues that he's probably not put a great amount of thought into.
Bottom line is he's virtue signalling to his 'peeps'.
I've actually been a bit of a fan of the show, "The Voice" mainly because they try their best to keep it positive all the time. There is nothing wrong with a bit of constructive criticisms of folks with a lot of talent, and they seem to do their best to keep it on that level. Some of the folks I saw on it had talent on loan from God, without a doubt. Now that I've ditched all television except for what I might have on hand on DVD/Blue Ray, I can't say I really miss it.
Glad I don't have to boycott the show, since I'm not watching anything at all because I liked it.
