GOP senators only want president to act unilaterally against Syria, Venezuela, Russia and Afghanistan. But heaven forbid he should take action to defend our own borders. The Koch brothers would be angry and we can’t have that!

Until it’s reported somewhere other than the Washington Post by way of the Hill, it’s not proof.

We need to kick one side of that “rift” right out of the party then.

The GOP is worthless, therefore the GOP Conference is worthless, therefore McConnell is worthless.

Therefore, ignore the poltroon.

“The Washington Post reported Friday that McConnell told Trump the Senate could pass a resolution disapproving the emergency declaration.”

I read about this, they still wouldn’t have enough votes to override a Trump veto.

We spend billions $$$ - and so many Americans’ lives lost! - to protect other countries’ borders. But we’re not supposed to protect our own country’s borders?

F THE GOP.

Since most the GOP establishment is open borders, obeying big donors like the Koch’s, this story sounds very credible to me. If GOP were for the wall, they had two years to approve it. They did nothing. So now they’re reportedly warning Trump not to act on his own. You really don’t believe that?

1. I’m not sure Trump can veto a Fongressional vote of disapproval

2. Even if he can veto it, Don’t assume there aren’t 18 Republicans to join the Dems and override a veto. Most GOP senators are open borders, in thrall to billionaire donors

Yep, Koch and the open-borders Chamber of Commerce have passed their orders to McConnell and the Uniparty confederacy. UNPATRIOTIC TRAITORS, ALL.

So what. A resolution is not law and the president’s position would be backed by law.

The declaration-of-emergency law gives Congress the authority to disapprove a presidentscdeclaration. Whether he can veto that vote by Congress, I don’t know

Question is: does he have authority to declare emergency to build wall or not.

Sure he does.

The REAL question is, does McConnell have 20 votes in his caucus to remove the President, along with 45 Democrats and two independents?

Obviously, there was more to the meeting between Pence and the GOP caucus than we know at this time. Who said what to whom?

My best guess is that McConnell told Pence, "If Trump declares an emergency to build the wall, tell Karen to order new drapes for the Lincoln bedroom".

LOL. POTUS can burn the Party of Lincoln to the ground with one tweet. McConnell (R-K Street) best be careful what he wishes for.
