Don’t necessarily bet on that. Yanking the rug out from under the GOP’s negotiators in this fashion might have them looking for ways to sideline Trump too. If they can’t even trust Trump to stand by offers made publicly in national addresses, why should they go to the mat for him at all?

...

Pretty bad article.

why shouldn’t Trump remove his offer of DACA relief to the demoncrats? they said no to that concession, and then pelousy said very recently absolutely no money for the wall. so you are saying Trump shouldn’t be able to respond to their intransigence? would you want Trump to up his offer with more concessions until he gets no money for the wall and the dems get everything they want? that’s how all our previous repub prez operated and that’s why the dems behave the way they do. the dems need to be taught a lesson, and in fact, Trump should up his request to the full $25 billion he really needed to build the wall on our southern border.

teach the dems a lesson, that you now have a new sheriff in town.

IMHO, the offer was a package deal. $5.7 B for physical barriers and Trump will give you something on DACA. You offer $5.6 B or less and DACA is off the table.

I completely support my President.
