House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says there will be no money for President Donald Trump’s border wall in any deal to keep the government open past a Feb. 15 deadline.
A bipartisan group of House-Senate negotiators met for the first time Wednesday, and Pelosi addressed the issue at a session with reporters on Thursday. The California Democrat said she wants to see the negotiators’ bipartisan bill by next Friday.

She will stick to her position to do everything possible to stop Trump’s signature campaign issue. He will make his case during the SOTU address, will win the day, and she will not budge. Then the next Caravan arrives w/ mayhem at the border and he declares the emergency. He keeps the Govt over as to no longer get that PR bashing.
She looks dumb, he looks pragmatic.
Please pass the popcorn and have clean-up crew ready to tidy up after Nancy looses it on National TV.
Your comment that our politicians are bought off by the Cartels may be closer to home than you could believe. Drug money may have been running politics since the early 90’s when the Cartels, and clowns in America, helped put a contraband friendly administration in place. The Cartels have a big investment, and those on the payrolls have a need to produce and not be exposed.
Hopefully we can retake the House back when the President gets reelected and those reps and senators will owe him.

Well duh...
I think it is customary for the SOTU to be handed to the opposition so they can rebut it. I would like to see Trump change it up at the last minute so the rats don’t have their rebuttal locked in.
Especially with the person giving the rebuttal.
