•In Los Angeles, 95% of some 1,500 outstanding warrants for homicides are for illegal aliens. About 67% of the 17,000 outstanding fugitive felony warrants are for illegal aliens.

•There are currently over 400,000 unaccounted for illegal alien criminals with outstanding deportation orders. At least one fourth of these are hard core criminals.

•80,000 to 100,000 illegal aliens who have been convicted of serious crimes are walking the streets. Based on studies they will commit an average of 13 serious crimes per perpetrator.

•Illegal aliens are involved in criminal activities at a rate that is 2-5 times their representative proportion of the population.

Dear Cardinal Tobin: May we direct you to a recent article in the San Diego Union Tribune that discussed a survey conducted by the “International Organization for Migration.” Only 4% of those interviewed intended to apply for amnesty. Just 4%. Which completely washes your argument. Over 80% were employed at the time they decided to join the caravans and over 37% are receiving funding from relatives. Most just want to steal jobs from citizens long enough to save so they can build homes back in the country they claim they are afraid to return to. Meaning they are exploiters who add no long-term value to the host country. And of course they are afraid - their families are held responsible for their coyote fees, now inflated and extended on credit - a form of modern slavery and door to extortion - due to open borders.
