Absolutely. But we are finding that most people are in kindergarten level thinking and we need to re-teach them the basics before they can grasp moderately complex proofs that man is not causing global warming
Yes there are ocean fossils at high elevations on land.
Actually there is physical evidence for the opposite occurring - warming - then CO2 increase!
Insightful. That is correct. The only thing changed is the time scale and the steps in between from “spontaneous generation” to evolution.
“I hypothesize these steel blades will cut through your hair shafts. Now, onward with the experiment! Hold still.
funny thing ... that’s pretty much what our local barberologist (his name was Propsts and he looked and sounded identical to “Floyd” on the Andy Griffith Show) told me when i was a little kid ...
And the "some studies MAY show" is the "scientific" equivalent to the (so-called) journalistic technique of prefacing an outrageous claim with "IF true, then...". Well, there are a lot if ifs out there. Using it as a prop to shield one from skeptical inquiry disqualifies it as a serious essay.
BTW, I got on the grad school's sh*t list after that episode. The grad school representative challenged my inquiry on the basis that I was questioning the student's data. Well, yes, that and how he was using it. That was a dissertation defense, asking serious questions and seeing how the degree candidate responds is what we were there for. It is a facet of the rite of passage to the degree to be prepared to answer challenges in a logical and forthright manner. We're not supposed to let them off the hook with a mumbled response.
It is all rather sad, isn’t it. And if I had been told all those years ago that this would happen, there is no way I would have believed it.
This is very interesting. You and or an expert on this technology should definitely contact Scott Adams.
He may want to get you on his show to explain this, RE:climate science. He has not mentioned this technology to my knowledge.
It’s more than sad. It leads one almost to a state of despair. I had always believed that we as a species had come to the realization of the pernicious, debilitating effects of sociopolitical ideology on scientific inquiry. But in some ways its as strong as ever, just hiding behind a different mask.
Some of the events he's holding there are fabulous. I've listened to podcasts from:
Judge Jeanine Pirro - Liberty University Convocation - Sept 2018 = 35 min.
Candace Owens - Liberty University Convocation -- Sept 2018 - 33 min.
President Donald Trump's Never Give Up -- given at Liberty University (I think) -- 6 min.
One word I love around 3:30 into Trump's speech. It stands out, V.K. And it's the quality Trump has so much of!
Love these. Thank you. Already forwarding them.
Great to hear of Trump weeping at the Christmas tree ceremony. That’s inspiration. The man has compassion, intelligence, and GRIT!
You are absolutely right! To BOTH points.Unfortunately, we cannot look forward to any commonsense or sanity from our “leaders” any time soon.
Insightful. That is correct. The only thing changed is the time scale and the steps in between from spontaneous generation to evolution.
It is still believed. Only now time and randomness are part of the equation.
Amazingly spontaneous generation is still in our science books to laugh at those stupid people. I have had discussions here on FR defending that the new “spontaneous generation” is a different theory.
