Credico posted the emails months ago of Stone ‘threatening’ his dogs.

What about indicting Jimmah Carter, for “lusting in his heart”? Or for cruelty to rabbits? Makes about as much sense. By actually pulling Stone in with such excessive force, for this caliber of “crime”, all Mueller & his goons are doing is demonstrating how stupid they are, to the whole world.

"cognitive dissonance" --> "the state of having inconsistent thoughts, beliefs, or attitudes, especially as relating to behavioral decisions and attitude change."

A person who experiences internal inconsistency tends to become psychologically uncomfortable, and so is motivated to reduce the cognitive dissonance, by making changes to justify the stressful behavior, either by adding new parts to the cognition causing the psychological dissonance, or by actively avoiding social situations and contradictory information likely to increase the magnitude of the cognitive dissonance.

So, I guess you are saying the internal inconsistency arises from us thinking this is a serious, well-governed country run by responsible adults and reality.

“I sure hope Mueller got Stones yearbook from high school.”

Yes and they claim in the yearbook Roger was awarded by classmates that year as “Most likely to collude with Russia”. :)

Attorney : Prospective Juror #148, are you now or have you ever been a member of PETA?

candidate i#148: Yes I have.

Attorney: Your honor, I ask that this juror be excused.

Judge: #148 is excused

I guess I still can’t get over the US no longer being a civilized nation. Something in me still holds onto that no matter how much evidence says otherwise.

Snack dogs.

Sometimes also known as punters, depending on how yappy they are.

People get attached to their Cotons. My dad brought some from Madagascar when I was little. Very clever animals, always giving false alerts to divert crocs away from carcasses so they can steal their food.

YEah, they will steal your snack doing drama antics outside for you to go there and then come back to get your food.

I am starting to get suspicious of these men with small therapy dogs. Maybe they sexually abuse the dogs or something. I smell some projection in this story. Roger Stone might have been onto something.

Actually what I meant was my daughter’s dog considers little dogs like that to be potential snacks. We suspect that she sees small dogs as prey animals like squirrels and cats and rabbits. She’s not really friendly with very many dogs, she likes people much more.

That’s pretty much what I was saying.

1. We grew up in an era with a serious, well-governed, world-leading, respected and feared country.
2. We are rapidly devolving to shithole.

I want to continue believing in #1 even though all the evidence points to #2.
