The mood at ABC’s The View alternated between sheer glee over Roger Stone’s arrest Friday morning, and anger over the government shutdown. Friday co-host Ana Navarro gushed that furloughed workers should essentially dine and dash at Trump property hotels to show their disgust for the administration.

Service Theft & Larceny Crime: New York Penal Law 165.15

A person is guilty of theft of services when:

2. With intent to avoid payment for restaurant services rendered, or for services rendered to him as a transient guest at a hotel, motel, inn, tourist cabin, rooming house or comparable establishment, he avoids or attempts to avoid such payment by unjustifiable failure or refusal to pay, by stealth, or by any misrepresentation of fact which he knows to be false. A person who fails or refuses to pay for such services is presumed to have intended to avoid payment therefor; or

Given they won’t allow a stay at the hotel without a hold on a credit card (or cash upfront), I doubt his would work.

Not to mention the fact that defrauding an innkeeper is criminal. That type of conviction looks great in a periodic background investigation for a security clearance.

Rack Up Bills at Trump Hotels, Refuse to Pay...then get charged with a crime, get sued, ruin your credit, deal with collections, etc. That’s so worth it.

What was it Geraldo said about Navarro this morning? After being asked why he hates Roger Stone so much, Rivera replied that it’s because Stone said bad things about his good friend Anna Navarro, the smartest woman in this hemisphere.
