As you know the democrats and some turncoat republicans have somehow made it so that if Illegals step one foot across the boarder then officials can only give them an appearance date and then set them free in the US. So catching them means absolutely nothing when you can’t stop them. Yet a wall would stop most of them from ever steeping foot in America.

The democrats play on the ignorance of the American people to know how things really are, and to think for themselves.

If technology alone worked then this wouldn't have been news...

Could Pelosi be attempting to payback San Jose technology mega campaign contributors with a technology-based wall versus a steel/cement based wall?

Eh probably should include all Dems in that theory...

These are the same people who tagged SDI with the moniker Star Wars, and mocked the idea of technology warfare as being pie in fhe sky.

They oppose the wall simply because they fear it will work. That’s all the opposition boils down to. You can’t tell me they care about five billion, that’s chump change to the U.S. federal government, plus Democrats have never cared about government spending before.

The reason the Democrats are for this is that after they get across our boarder it is harder to get rid of them. The wall would keep most out!

"Technology" however they do it will be more expensive and labor intensive than a physical wall.

Maybe it’s Simply Safe or Ring. We could just put them on post at the border.

Then Nancy can use the app on her phone to warn them away. Of course if it was video they’d run back home faster than Speedy Gonzales. (cue libtard outrage)

Stupid poor people from hell-holes fleeing socialism’s failures come here and help our left create a socialist utopia?

Yeah, nothing can go wrong.

Where do they go next after us?

Supply everyone in the caravan with MAGA hats.
The wall would be up in a week.

LOL! That's actually kinda perfect.

So blocking the right to travel, relocate and immigrate is perfectly fine, jus as long as a wall isn’t used? Is that their final answer?

A wall has no software, little maintenance, works in any weather, and requires no personnel to run it. Sometimes the simplest solution is the best. The DEMS want a solution that can be easily defeated.

Tech won’t keep anybody out of the country. A wall will stop most.

Absolutely! Especially a few weeks before every November. Then, it needs to be maintained which will cost more in the long run than a physical barrier does.

It’s good to see they are admitting that something needs to be done. give them enough rope, and they’ll hang themselves on their own terms!

In areas of low influx of illegal aliens a technological wall makes sense. From Big Bend in Texas to the lower El Paso valley it is rugged terrain to cross as are other parts of the Southwest It is all about money and effect. In areas of high influx a wall is totally necessary. Pelosi knows this and opposes this.

She wants these illegal aliens to shift the demographic voting of our nation. Years ago California was Republican. The influx of legal and illegal aliens has changed California to a hard left democratic state. What happened in California is the democrat plan for our nation!

It is that simple.

I myself would like a wall across the whole damn border with the exception of St. Helena Canyon in Big Bend. If they can rappel down more than a thousand feet of canyon wall and up the other side, they might be worth keeping.

ps
I am a white boy married to a Mexican National. She became an American citizen long before I knew her. She went to our universities and became a citizen the legal way.

Our side can easily counter this by observing:

“Technology can be turned off. Walls can’t.”

NJ and NY have been forever changed by the open border as well; both have countless illegals, and Americans have been chased out by the costs of maintaining them. Our sky-high property taxes primarily fund our public schools (75% of the tax burden), and most of those students are foreign.
