Trump just lost a large percentage of his supporters. Me included.
Apparently House Republicans voted to pay fed employees their 1st 2019 paycheck despite shutdown but only 6 Dems joined them. That tells you all you need to know. Dems don't care about missed pay or reopening the gov't, they only care about opposing Trump.
I am too, but only because I set an expectation that includes making Pelosi eat her words. In the big picture, the SOTU is small potatoes. Getting the wall is everything.
Petty Pelosi has already shown how bad she can be. Better this than him speaking in front of defiant Dems acting up throughout the speech.
State of the union is not the only time or way President Trump can address the people.
I’m not hpppy if Trump delays SOTU but I trust he has bigger fish to fry in the mean time.

Listening to Breitbart and they just called this a masterstroke, removing her bargaining chip and making him look like the adult here.
I agree, though I still think he should speak to the base again, though not in SOTU format.
