North Korea's Kim Jong-un has expressed "great satisfaction" after receiving a letter from US President Donald Trump ahead of a second summit between the two leaders, Pyongyang's state media reported Thursday.
Kim is making "good technical preparations" for the meeting, the official KCNA news agency said, in the isolated nation's first comments on the talks scheduled for next month.
The letter was handed to Kim by one of his right-hand men, vice Chairman Kim Yong Chol, who met Trump at the White House last week as the two countries seek a denuclearisation accord that could ease decades of hostility.
"(Kim) spoke highly of President Trump for expressing his unusual determination and will for the settlement of the issue with a great interest in the second DPRK-US summit," KCNA said, referring to the North by its official name.
The strongman said North Korea will "believe in the positive way of thinking of President Trump" as the countries advance "step by step" towards their goals, the agency added...

So Kim Jong-un is able to negotiate with Trump and Nancy Pelosi isn’t.
These matters are meaningless. Anybody with an engaged brain knows it. Not worth the paper the dictator, merciless persecutor if imprisoned Christians as we speak, signed.
Imagine if we were told at the outset of Trump’s election that Trump would be welcomed to NK but banned from the house of representatives.
Yes.
Nancy Pelosi is setting women back to the Stone Age with her behavior. No one will trust a woman as a leader because women are irrational.
I am a woman.
I think a lot of average American see our current situation as somehow “normal” and also “Trump’s Fault”.
But of course that’s not true. If the American president can negotiate successfully with the leader of North Korea but is barred from the US House by the Democrat leadership, then you know that we are in the midst of a coup in this country.
This is truly scary.
Watch. After every positive move by NK toward Trump, the Deep State will release something anti-NK to the news media next.
Pisslosi is showing signs of Old Timers but the DNC put her in charge desite what everyone sees.
People with alheimers can be vindictive and later just down right mean.
Their behavior is not rational for the circumstance.
