Look at it from their point of view: Mueller has been out there like a cat toy, jerked back every time they pounce. The "We've got him now!" stories are like a laser pointer to the proggies. They can't help themselves.
of course, it took a day for Mueller’s mob to refute, giving the FakeNewsMSM endless hours to keep repeating the fake story. not good enough.

They may be rabid leftists, but apparently they know a questionable story when they see it. The lack of any direct evidence from the source is usually enough to get the story spiked.
Why would Mueller’s office issue a dispute with the Buzzfeed story if they weren’t disputing what’s in the Buzzfeed story?

In one minute, I found a CNN interview of one of the Buzzfeed authors, Cormier - and he says - our sources, he calls them “officials,” are fully 100% read into the Special Counsel Investigation.
Get that, two “Officials” in the Special Counsel Investigation per one of the authors of the piece, speaking on CNN.
The Talking Heads trying to conjure some other meaning are lying through their teeth.
