So-called “unpaid” Federal workers SHOULD NOT get unemployment, since they will get BACK PAY, many if not most for not working, when the Fed.gov reopens. Any who HAVE gotten unemployment will need to PAY IT BACK when the Fed.gov reopens!

It’s been a long downward spiral. Our family threw off the oppressive yoke of bad government under Grey Davis decades ago by fleeing to a free state. I feel for the few conservatives who remain trapped there behind enemy lines.

The workers are NOT unemployed, they are not being paid, but so far are not out of work.
Unemployment insurance doesn’t cover this situation... nothing surprising about this at all.
This man was just put into the office of California Governor-—the largest population state—and he DOES NOT know the rules about UNEMPLOYMENT.

California is a blindingly obvious reason why the commies want wide open borders. I don’t think a Republican governor will be ever elected in that state again, it’s sickening and what ticks me off is the Republican party does absolutely nothing about it. How many of them are standing up for Trump and the wall? Every day all we get is Lindsay Graham and one or two others showing support and that’s it. Do they want the rest of the country to end up like that? Look at the most wanted in Los Angeles, 90% of them are illegals, mostly gang members. Why are they agreeing to import this crap?

Good. The workers and constituencies most affected by the shutdown are rat supporters.
They are turning up the heat on their reps, senators, Stretch and Schmuckie to relent and give PDJT his d@mn wall.
But the ones who are furloughed and not working can apply for unemployment benefits.
