The day is coming when the only ‘demonstrations’ that will stop those bastards will involve many corpses.

If the cockroaches aren’t run out of our nation, America will die.

We should all relax and reflect on the wise utterances and calm assurances of our betters back in '65...

"This bill we sign today is not a revolutionary bill. It does not affect the lives of millions. It will not restructure the shape of our daily lives." -- Lyndon Johnson at the signing of the Hart-Celler Immigration Bill on Oct. 3, 1965.

"With the end of discrimination due to place of birth, there will be shifts in countries other than those of northern and western Europe. Immigrants from Asia and Africa will have to compete and qualify in order to get in, quantitatively and qualitatively, which, itself will hold the numbers down. There will not be, comparatively, many Asians or Africans entering this country...since the people of Africa and Asia have very few relatives here, comparatively few could immigrate from those countries because they have no family ties in the U.S." -- Rep. Emanuel Celler (D-NY), a sponsor of the bill.

"I would say for the Asia-Pacific Triangle it [immigration] would be approximately 5,000, after which immigration from that source would virtually disappear; 5,000 immigrants would come the first year, but we do not expect that there would be any great influx after that." -- Attorney General Robert Kennedy

"The time has come for us to insist that the quota system be replaced by the merit system...It deprives us of able immigrants whose contributions we need...It would increase the amount of authorized immigration by only a fraction." -- Attorney General Robert Kennedy

"First, our cities will not be flooded with a million immigrants annually. Under the proposed bill, the present level of immigration remains substantially the same ... Secondly, the ethnic mix of this country will not be upset ... Contrary to the charges in some quarters, [the bill] will not inundate America with immigrants from any one country or area, or the most populated and deprived nations of Africa and Asia ... In the final analysis, the ethnic pattern of immigration under the proposed measure is not expected to change as sharply as the critics seem to think." -- Edward Kennedy (D-MA.)

Other than Christmas, which is worldwide, there aren't religious federal holidays. Good Friday isn't a holiday, nor is Passover or Rosh Hashanah.

Federal holidays are historical, they honor significant American figures or key dates in history. Washington's birthday, Lincoln's birthday, memorializing fallen military, honoring surviving veterans at the end of the Great War, Independence Day, founding days like Thanksgiving and Columbus Da; these are the days that Americans honor.

Note that we do not have a day to honor the Civil War, nor the end of the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, or other major skirmishes. Federal holidays are few and meant to be "American."

Federal holidays are not "holiday of the month" clubs for any self-identified group to demand one.

Detroit is going to long for the days of John Conyers, who the Tliab traitor replaced.

She will likely lose in 2 years. The black vote was split 5 ways in the Democratic primary and Tlaib eked out a win (by 900 votes) and only got 31% of the vote. If the black vote is consolidated into a single candidate, she will lose the 2020 Dem Primary easily. It remains to be seen if the party will allow a challenger to her, however.

What is the name of the Muzzie holiday that celebrates the killing of Aisha’s parents and the night of child rape that followed?

Omar and Tlaib justified their work as.... moving us further away from our history as a primarily Christian nation

elected representatives of American States in America have a responsibility or duty to 'move us further away from our history' as part of swearing to uphold and defend the laws of the United States of America?

Does New Orleans get an exception? Mardi Gras can immediately follow Washington’s Birthday. While not on the federal calendar, federal offices and banks are closed on Mardi Gras.

No different than if they were asking for a holiday for the KKK.

“How about September 11 as a Muslim holiday?”

Nah! That conflicts with a Black National Holiday! It’s the day that GM shows the country next year’s Cadillac.

Get rid of Christmas as a federal holiday and replace it with the anniversary of the Battle of Trenton which is not a religious holiday.
