I think that you already know the answer to that question. In the past, perhaps not. However, we are in the here and now and he is a Democrat. Since neither decency or the law applies to Democrats, he probably will run and will have a 99 and 44/100 chance of being elected.

Yes, given what Florida did with respect to Alcee Hastings. But in that case he was impeached and removed as a judge, then ran and won a Congressional seat. My comment was centered on if Israel is found guilty of malfeasance, does that fact end up disqualifying him from running for his old position. So I am wondering if there is going to be a legal proceeding now on whether or not he is in fact guilty of malfeasance.
