The cashier says "Now...is your problem that you got to Harvard and can't count, or go to MIT and can't read?"
And, I note, reading through this thread, that no one has yet commented on the effects Massholes fleeing Taxachusetts have had on the poor citizens of New Hampshire?
Live FRee or die, indeed!
Are they may also be infesting/infecting Maine, as well?
30 years ago my wife’s son would go out to New Hampshire during the summer to visit his aunt who’s husband ran one of the UNH campuses. He’d spend a month while working with the building and grounds department. Even back then next door neighbors were known as massholes.
LOL!!
LOL!!
That's a wicked pissah post!
Can’t forget the Boston Tea Party.
Early battles of the Revolutionary War, Bunker Hill, Lexington, Concord, just to mention a few.
Yep they sure are wacky alright, the modern day ones, but their ancestors were a different breed.
Gotta love Howie!
Massachusetts can’t get enough NH liquor. NH can’t get enough Mass weed, and Maine weed, and Vermont weed...
“The commonwealth has become a magnet for a hugely disproportionate number of Americas most obnoxious know-it-alls
“
I think that that can be attributed in large measure to the obscene number of colleges and universities that call MA “home.” We are now ruing the day that we let our youngest daughter attend Boston University to study music. It cost us something on the order of $200k, she has a Magna Cum Laude degree that its’t worth $hit insofar as earning a living is concerned, and she came out a mini-socialist. In Boston alone there are some 27 “institutions of higher learning,” and that is the seed of MA’s problem with thinking it “knows it all!” Burn down a few of them and life would get immediately better so long as you shoot the “professors” as they run from the fires. Harvard should be top of your “hit list!”
Great Post!
Having worked at the Longwood Medical Area (a huge complex populated by Harvard Medical School, several huge Harvard hospitals and scores of medical research labs) for decades I can assure you that there are many, many, many *hugely* skilled physicians, surgeons and researchers affiliated with Harvard Medical School.
I know they have a School of Divinity...
I have a friend who attended Boston University's School of Divinity (right across the river from Harvard) who laughs when he say that all they talk about there is the various ways that one can prove that God doesn't exist.I'd be willing to bet that Harvard's Divinity School is at least as bad.
For me it's family...and climate.Florida's nice in January...not so much in August.Ditto North Carolina,Texas,Arizona...
“And to those of you in doubt I,a lifelong resident, can assure you that it wasn’t always this way.”
Back in the ‘60’s Uncle Sam saw fit to station me at Westover, AFB. Spent a year and enjoyed it very much. Walked into local police station and walked out with a concealed carry permit...something that wouldn’t be possible for 50 more years in this shithole state of illannoy.
Actually the Cape is becoming over-run with ratchetry as of late, so we'll see how long the smugsters put up with it.
Yup.
Except while in the military, I've lived here all my life, and you are correct. In the past decade it has become exponentially worse.
The people are definitely much nicer and less arrogant here in CT but unfortunately we are not too different from MA politically.
“Massachusetts: the large intestine of America.”
Illannoy (Chicago) the anus.
AMEN!
I hope that magnificent bastard comes up with some serious strategy on Sunday. This year's team needs big-time help.
We don't. We're just the only ones who don't buy into the myth that NYC is the greatest place on planet earth. Because it sucks balls.
