Multiple sources tonight tell me Ruth Bader Ginsburg is not even in DC, but in New York and preparing to step down from the Supreme Court.
This Dims will claim this is already too close to 2020 for Trump to nominate anyone. They won’t be able to help themselves.
Schadenfreude is a sin and an irresistible temptation at that.

Obama would not have appointed a nominee in the mold of a traditional feminist. Ginsburg probably didn’t trust him. She probably wanted to retire.

An otherwise Dane looking woman in her mid forties say next to me on a plane last week. She was watching the RBG movie and went from whimpering to full blow wailing by the end. I kept thinking, Lord give me strength.

Yeah that's about the size of it. Actually I can't think of better timing to make a national emergency declaration on the wall than a RBG retirement. In fact Trump should make some other supposed controversial decision around the same time. Blitz the left. Stay on offense.
