Multiple sources tonight tell me Ruth Bader Ginsburg is not even in DC, but in New York and preparing to step down from the Supreme Court.

“... not exactly news for a woman of her age who is suffering from cancer.”

NOT “suffering from cancer”, they “got it all” /s

I personally knew two men they told that to and within a year they were both DEAD.

RBG, RIP.

Otherwise, she will hang on tooth and nail to avoid giving Trump another pick.

I don’t see it. Does she really think she’s going to last another two years - much less six? If not, why wait to step down? Ego?

She’ll have to be stretchered out of the Supreme Court building, with a *yellow plastic sheet* over her. No way she’ll resign.

If that is true and Kennedy chose Kavanaugh, that doesn't speak well for Kavanaugh. He might end up as much of a champion of sodomy & abortion as Justice Kennedy. Let's hope not. I don't know much about Justice Ho though...if he is the pick of Thomas it would be reassuring.

Garland was nominated in March 2016, on Super Tuesday primary day.

If Ginsburg steps down in January or February 2020, I think people might be okay with a nomination because the candidate field may be very unsettled at that time.

The argument for letting voters decide may not resonate as much as it did in 2016 when the candidates were known and the contrasts were so clear.

Still, the Democrats have never been shy about making bold, even hypocritical, demands when it suits their needs. The question, as always, will be how the Republicans respond.

Still an election year and a few weeks difference isn't going to keep the Democrats from screaming 'hypocrisy'. And I can't say I'd blame them; McConnell chose to give the Biden rule as his excuse. He'd have to live with it.

Seems like a media blackout on her health.

That's a pretty cynical observation on your part.

There's ALWAYS a Media blackout when your fighter is in training for the world light middleweight boxing championship.

Floyd Mayweather is going to have to be content with 2nd place money, and will be stung with the first loss of his career when Corpseburg knocks him down in the first 30 seconds.

She’ll die on the bench. No resignation for RBG.

Appearing now or coming soon , at a liberal movie theater in your hometown!

She chose poorly. Now, the man she hates will choose the person to replace her. Now that's Supreme Justice with a capital J.

Why are liberals in government, media and on main street so concerned about a decent person becoming a Supreme Court Justice?:

Congress, Presidents, governors, legislatures, IRS/FBI/DOJ and all others set up potential possible judicial decisions, which often are Decided by the Supreme Court often by one vote by the Swing Justice.

Limbaugh estimates “80% of the leftist agenda stuffed into our culture was not voted on but rather was the result of the courts.”

Often by one vote.

*The federal circuit judges (HI,OR,CA especially), and the Supreme Court 5-4 decisions totally run our religious practice, life and death such as abortion, immigration and our borders, our sex lives and definitions of gender, and all types of private and public activity and taxation.

*Thanks to frank ballenger for clarifying the America, we have lived in since FDR.

I don't doubt it. All I'm saying is those are a crucial few weeks, as primary candidates will be dropping out on the Democrat side, just like they did on the Republican side in early 2016.

The choices were pretty clear in 2016, but 2020 will have a lot of radical "amateurs" running, like O'Rourke, Harris, et. al. Republicans should counter by saying that the field is still too open to say that the voters should decide.

Once the field narrows to the top two, then that's different.

We can only keep praying that the best outcome for all is in God’s plan in this situation.

Like me, most of us here wish no harm to RBG but that she will enjoy retirement soon and be replaced by a qualified supporter of our constitutional republic nominated by President Trump.

Is America ready for Ginsburg to retire? How will the left respond if President Trump ends up getting 3 Justices on the Supreme Court in only his first term? We'll discuss this & more with @GreggJarrett, @gehrig38, & Lain Harrison on America First. 3PMEST. https://t.co/BPvcd7mdEt— Sebastian Gorka DrG (@SebGorka) January 11, 2019

Now supposes she lapses into a coma. If she opts for full support, how long could she last? She could even be cortically brain dead, but if she had other signs of life, she could keep going and block Trump from replacing her. She might even have that in her directives.

A medical examiner declared Scalia dead sight unseen with a long-distance phone call. Ruth Buzzie will keep “participating” in court proceedings through a “phone call” from the “other side.”
