I was a video editor. Low man on the stick. The video editor does what he is told. Many witness his work product in real time, all on hair trigger to complain about settings that are out of specs.
The sound was terrible. It picked up every intake of breath by the President. There is no reason for that.
A job that bad almost has to be intentional.
I remember seeing CSPAN coverage vs Network coverage during Reagan debates.
Everytime the camera was on Reagan, the networks would start shaking the cameras. CSPAN’s was steady. They didn’t shake when the Democrat was speaking.
