I would have thought that deals like this between EU members would be forbidden by AN rules, that all this would need to come from the EUROPEAN parliament

Is it just me, or does “Crying French Guy” look like Robert DeNiro?

Frankish Empire II
If only Hitler had known he was trying to lift the wrong empire out of the dust of history.

I've always thought that he looked like Joe E. Brown ...

” single superpower “? HAH !
More like single mini power. At the present combined they could not even slow down, much less stop, a Russian aggression.

Yep, and I’ve seen photos of the German tanks that were destroyed by TOWs in N. Syria during the invasion of Efrin.
Erdogan was calling for quick upgrades of them.

Of course it won’t.
It might work to the benefit to Germany. Nothing more.

This is how Germany acquires an intercontinental nuclear triad overnight.
They already have the wealth and manufacturing capacity to make it 10X bigger in ten years.
A thought that should not be dismissed out of hand.

This was a necessary step if there is to be a truly uited Europe.
I womder though what the people think. Does this effort jive with the wishes of the yellow jackets?
It should be a clear and present danger for those opposing Brexit
