The Syrian Kurds I know (well) loath Erdogan and would love to conquer them. With the right backing, they could.
I don’t exaggerate.
Yeah I plan on writing him about that paragraph.
He truly screwed up the article with that train of thought.
God is Right Wing and Nationalistic.
Ecclesiastes 10:2
Deuteronomy 32:8
Psalm 74:17
“Saladin the Magnificent” was a Kurd.
Turks fear the Kurdish fighters. (the ones who are smart do)
So do Al Qaeda and ISIS fighters. Even the Kurdish women are know for being good warriors.
This was the female commander in the Raqqa battle and many before:
Welcome to Raqqa https://joeyl.com/blog/all/post/welcome-to-raqqa (Commander: Rojda Felat)
Looks like a good place for some Macron pics
I really appreciate the focus on that area. Hard to say what would happen if the US was engaged village to village on this kind of daily fighting. No room for staying alive for non-combatants, I guess.
Love to see that.
Yes, and in the end Danzig ended up behind the Iron Curtain - returning to fame decades later due to the Solidarity movement (as “Gdansk”).
Rodja has been there since before Kobani. When the Siege of Kobani was going on, there were about 10,000 almost all women and children left. In the beginning it looked hopeless, until U.S. public pressure finally forced Obama to give them air support to take out ISIS armor and artillery.
Turkey tanks overlooking Kobani as ISIS is assaulting (doing nothing to help):

I think this photo is may be the night B1-Bs came calling on ISIS armor. I’ve heard stories of how potent that was from some of the Kurds.

There were many lives lost, but with our air stikes the Kurdish forces (mostly women) held and reinforcements from Iraq and other places repelled ISIS for the first time.
Desperate battle, blood and carnage in the streets, women fighting who knew what ISIS would do to them. And they prevailed.
Amazing people.
