These are lawmakers. Their job is to formulate the laws which govern our nation.
Yet they support lawlessness on our Southern border to assure massive influx of law-breaking immigrants who will, in turn, assure their continuous reelection as lawmakers.
Bizarre.
Good luck President Trump, first President since Reagan to even attempt to end this madness. I’ll do whatever I can to help.

I was insulted as I pointed out we had quite a few people die here in this area on 9-11. Her response to emphasize these DHS stats were for post 9-11.

Added that I had met him at a conference and how can he not meet the bare minimum of upholding his oath of office to provide for the common defense and basic security of Americans?

Why do politicians deserve this type of added protection?
Walls around their residences that:

Why do everyday Americans NOT deserve this added protection from the riff-raff coming over the border?
Sounds like Sen. Murphy in CT. If you dare disagree on a popular topic in the news, you will get a lecture by some intern to tell you why you are wrong.
When I was unemployed in 2011-12 (Thanks, Obama!), there were no Food Bank supplies or deferrement of my bills or my accounts. I went without vacations and many things. I even applied to be a substitute teacher in my school system and there was a hiring freeze back then. These days, I have a job I love (I have 2 jobs I love, actually) and my school system is desperately trying to find substitute teachers because the real teachers are leaving to get better jobs in this Trump Economy.
