I do not understand why the President should have to give out a copy of his speech ahead of time. If their positions are based in facts then nothing he says should change their message. Let him make the case why we NEED a wall and then Pelosi and Schumer can make their case about why we DON’T. Let the American people see/hear both sides and then let them decide which case makes more sense.
The reason that Brett Kavanaugh is on the Supreme Court is that he made HIS case before the American people and they saw which side was spinning and which side was telling the truth.

That’s because there is no opposition party to the Democrats.
There is one man opposing them, but no opposition party.
They have the media, popular culture, most organized religion, the schools, the colleges, the medical field, they have the scientific/academic field cowed by Federal grants, they’ve got most of labor (unions) - they’ve pretty much got all of the institutions in society locked up.
They’ve got the field to themselves. Single party system.
