Democrats get away with a much worse crime than Watergate.
The Spectator ^ | 7 Jan 2019 | Jed Babbin

Since Watergate, the Washington wisdom has always held that it’s not the crime, it’s the coverup that sinks a politician. But that’s only the case when the coverup fails.

But what if the coverup succeeds?

It’s horribly simple. The crimes are never uncovered and the perpetrators are never brought to justice no matter how serious their crimes may be. That is precisely what has happened because of the FBI and Justice Department’s coverup of their abuses of power and illegal actions during the 2016 election.

In this case, the FBI and the Justice Department have succeeded in the most significant coverup in American political history. The abuses of power and crimes they have succeeded in covering up are not only against the law: they are crimes against our system of law and government. They were perpetrated by employees of the government, under color of law, with the intention of affecting the outcome of an election.

For almost two years an investigation into the abuses of power — and probable crimes — committed by the FBI and Justice Department during the election has been conducted by House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence chairman Devin Nunes (R-Cal). Rep. Bob Goodlatte — chairman of the Judiciary Committee — and Trey Gowdy — chairman of the Oversight and government reform committee — tried to investigate other aspects of the FBI and DoJ actions.

Using government to spy on political candidates to rig elections. That should be a serious crime that would worry anyone, but Democrats don’t care because they’re doing it. Republicans don’t care for who knows what reason.

The only avenue that was left to find the truth was for President Trump to have ordered the documents declassified and provided to Congress. But he never acted and now the investigations are closed.

Trump ordered "immediate declassification" of the FISA docs but we never saw them because Rosenstein and our supposed allies got him to back off. They got their way but we didn't. Deceit won.

The reason is they have no principles or convictions. They are there for themselves, not us.

It’s really helpful to have people running the DOJ and FBI.

The Bush League Republicans only care about advancing the Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA), a permanent Democrat majority is part of that plan.

They agreed to the Kenyanesian Usurpation, that can’t very well object to anything.

Yes, the conspirators won. An enduring question is just what did they do or threaten to do to get President Trump to back off? How awful it must have been.

In actuality it was done to us. This whole plot was an attempted coup d’etat designed to prevent the people from electing someone who is not beholded to and controlled by the Deep State. Make no mistake, We the people are the ultimate target of their machinations. And becuase they were not punished their subversion and manipulation will continue.

Careerists don't care because the databases of collected Intel on them, their families, and friends, is the Steele Dossier on them all.

It all began with the 800 FBI files of the Clinton extortion and murder network. The FBI / CIA became our largest enemy, domestic or foreign.

Good question. Whatever the real reason, or how awful it might have been, Trump should have exposed this subversion and those who participated in it. Nothing could be more important than exposing treason. Nothing.

Watch how the Democrats will work something out where they will get control of the Senate. They will somehow move at least one R to D and the rest will they will have a few R that will vote with them. Trump is in real trouble. He just did not pay attention to how the communists Democrats work and wasted many months trying to convert them. Won’t work.

Nobody covered anything up. We all know who the players are and what they did.

The question is what does one do when those in power choose not to apply the law when the crimes are staring everyone in their face?

From the article...

The only avenue that was left to find the truth was for President Trump to have ordered the documents declassified and provided to Congress. But he never acted and now the investigations are closed. The Senate won’t reopen them, nor will acting AG Whitaker or IG Horowitz. The only hope resides in U.S. Attorney for Utah John Huber, an Obama appointee, who then-AG Jeff Sessions tasked to investigate FBI misconduct in the election. Those who place their hopes in Huber will be disappointed.

The stain on our system of justice and the 2016 election created by the abuses of power and probable crimes committed by FBI and DoJ officials during and after the 2016 presidential campaign will not be erased. Their coverup has succeeded.

“Democrats get away with a much worse crime than Watergate.”

A (singular) much worse crime? The number of Rats’ crimes that are worse than Watergate is a double-digit (maybe triple-digit) figure.

Boom. The movie Snowden points out how all of this happens under the NSA and as you point out becomes the safety valve to keep the Kabuki theater going.
