Is there any profession that merits the esteem that doctors have? I don't think so.
What doctors do not only requires significant brains, but requires professionalism, because patient trust is so critical. Without that trust, how would a doctor be able to get a patient to take his or her clothes off, bend over for an exam, or accept a medical treatment with bad side effects? Trust is what makes the whole profession work.
This is why this story out of Cleveland is so chilling.
Medical resident at Cleveland Clinic Lara Kollab, who published antisemitic statements on Twitter regarding her Jewish patients at the hospital, was dismissed from the hospital, the Cleveland Clinic reported on Monday.
Both Canary Mission and StopAntisemitism.org called attention to Kollab's tweet from 2012, in which she wrote "ill purposely give all the yahood the wrong meds..."

Did I read that right? A doctor who threatened to give her patients the wrong medicine, on the grounds that they were Jewish? ("Yahood" is a word that means Jewish.) That's an actual hate crime.
What was she doing working at the Cleveland Clinic? She shouldn't have even been allowed to scrub toilets there. This person is really a doctor?
This suggests something awful going on. It's not just that the prestigious Cleveland Clinic should have vetted her before they hired her, or gotten some competent vetters who understand that a doctor who threatens to kill is not a doctor a patient will trust. It's also sign of decline in the medical profession. How on Earth did this person get a medical license, and why hasn't it been pulled? Did no one check her ethics? She has a long history of vile anti-Semitic tweets, loaded with homicidal ravings and musings,

Why was an Osteopath working at the Cleveland Clinic? That place used to have a sterling reputation.
That’s the most insane thing I ever heard of! That “doctor” shouldn’t have gotten past the front door. Just think what that does to reputation of the clinic even with no incidents occurring! Wouldn’t be safe to have them cleaning toilets, either...even if they would.

Nice Muslim girl that spews hatred for all “Jew dogs” is even allowed to study at an institution run by Jews?
Am I insane, or does all of this beg the question, do Jews refuse to admit Muslims want all of them dead, the sooner the better?

Nothing wrong with an Osteopath. A DO receives the same training an MD does, just with an emphasis on whole body medicine. Some of my best doctors have been DO.
Not even an M.D. A D.O.
I can tell you, as an employee of the Clinic, that they are extremely devoted to political correctness.
To their detriment
They might rethink this when the lawsuits start rolling in.

Is it as insane as bragging about it on social media? That must be God’s doing because I cannot imagine anyone who would ever admit to that on social media. We are incredibly fortunate to have had it happen and expose these crimes, and the investigating authorities just had a gift handed over to them.
It’s still a medical degree.......an osteopath is qualified......I once had an osteopath as my doctor.....I only quit because I didn’t care for his politics, which he decided to enhance for the community
But if you’re saying quality hospitals like Cleveland Clinic and Mayo are undermining themselves by hiring DOs I see your point.
This is a post I didn’t make yesterday. “Just an aside, I wonder what she scored on her MCATS. A woman and a Muslim is an affirmative action darling yet she attended Touro College which is a school for lefty approved “underserved” groups.”
People need to understand that affirmative action is life threatening and it’s not isolated to this case. This is happening at every graduate school I can think of. It used to be going to a prestigious clinic offered you the best in employees. Not any more.
For every one who is actually dumb enough to slip up and post their hate on social media, there are hundreds who harbor the same hate and same thoughts who don’t slip up.
No doubt and the smarter ones probably scored well on their MCATS. Cleveland Clinic only saw “Muslim woman” and hired her with no background check. I guess it’s up to the patients to do that now.
