Got gas easily, but the corners are very slippery.

Now they say rain tonight, temps almost to 40 til Wednesday. Then maybe some snow and highs in the mid teens for a week. Ugly weather if it happens!!

Hopefully no one will be on the roads tomorrow, and even less on New Years Day.

We won’t see 70 here but it’ll get close. A LOT warmer than we’re used to at the end of Dec., that’s for sure. Waiting to see what they say about the 7-day forecast on the Nashville channel we normally watch. They’re running late due to a football game. Another channel called for fairly warm weather but our regular channel has been calling for highs in the 40s. Let’s see if they’ve changed their minds since last night.

Also waiting to see if we can expect bad storms here or if they’ll hit a different part of the state tomorrow. We’ll have a windy day regardless.

Ghost HAS been a good dad to the young ‘uns. He seems like a good cat overall.

Glad you were able to get out to take care of things fairly easily. The streets looked slick in spots. It’s going to be really nasty after things melt and re-freeze again later in the week. Yuck, yuck, YUCK!

I’ll be checking DH tomorrow to see what the weather is like in your general vicinity. I know the weather there can be harsher, but it’s not too far off.

We are going dryer shopping tomorrow. Ugh. Not how I want to spend New Year’s Eve, but the dirty clothes are piling up. LOL!

Good evening, radu...an extremely interesting piece of history.

Any drying, or does the rain continue?

DH will get some heavy rain tonight. The storm line is supposed to come through here around 4 - 5 p.m. and should hit there around the same time frame. They aren’t as close to us as you think. The nest is almost in KY and we’re a very few miles above AL.

Oh boy, dryer shopping. Did you look online to see what store have what brands and styles of dryers first? Saves running all around town.

It was a really interesting piece of history, indeed!

No rain today but it was warm-ish and cloudy. There’s rain close by now but most will miss us tonight. Tomorrow is when we have our “fun”. Heavy rain, strong winds, and possibly severe storms. This is more like April than December.

No. We usually go to the same place. Odessa doesn’t have that many choices any more and we like the Maytag brand. Hopefully they have a “mid-priced” one. I’m not into status.

I always forget how far south y’all are. Maybe the icky stuff will miss you. We can hope so anyhow.

At least you know where to get the brand you like and with luck, they’ll have a style and price you’re happy with. I hope it’s a quick and successful shopping trip!

Yup, we’re at the bottom edge of TN. Tonight we’re missing the big rain but DH is getting a good dose right now. Tomorrow the storm line moves across the whole state and we all get heavy rain and maybe storms. The wind’s picked up a lot the past hour so I guess we’ll have a repeat of last Thursday, like they said.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

Is it warming up at all or are y’all still freezing like LUV is?

We warmed up a bit but are now getting rain and possible nasty storms out of the deal.

Well, we're getting some rain and it's a bit warm this morning. We're expecting single digit wind chills tonight and tomorrow morning.

Heads up, Radu. Your area is in a level 2 severe weather risk today. I believe it's the central part of the state that's in it. yep, you're right, nasty storms coming.

I saw the rain at DH. It looked cold and miserable. Brr!

See ya tomorrow. Guess the early morning has finally caught up with me. Finally. :)

Single-digit wind chills? YIKES!!! Not going to be fun AT ALL!!
You’ve still got a bit of rain heading up through your area, I see. Might be a bit mushy for a walk at the lake if it stops by the time you normally go out there.

I just checked and it’s warmer here now than it was this afternoon. The temp is going up already and they say we’ll get close to 70 degrees for the high.

Yep, we have a chance for ugly weather here, primarily strong winds and heavy rain. There’s a slight chance for a tornado or two to pop up somewhere in the state when the main even passes through. The wind’s already picked up quite a bit the past hour or so. It feels kind of nice out there and it’s tempting to go out for a walk around the farm.

It really isn’t that cold tonight. It’s almost 60 here at the moment and they aren’t much cooler at DH. Still not fun to get wet though. If you’re home and you think about it, pull up the cam around 4 p.m. to see what’s going on then. That’s when things are supposed to start getting dicey.

You ARE up late for a Sunday night. LOL! Must have had a good nap. Sleep well, and good luck tomorrow!
