FULL TITLE: Senator who authored California’s ‘sanctuary state’ bill sends condolences to family of slain officer

As Twitchy reported earlier, Cameron Gray posted a must-read thread about the number of House members from California who took to social media to demand answers about the deaths of two children in Border Patrol custody but never thought to tweet about Cpl. Ronil Singh, who was shot and killed by an illegal immigrant. Well, there was one tweet and another retweet at least.

President pro tempore of the California State Senate Kevin de León, probably better known to out-of-staters as the Democrat who challenged Sen. Dianne Feinstein for her Senate seat in 2018, broke the mold by tweeting his condolences.

For what it’s worth, de León is the senator who introduced SB 54, California’s “sanctuary state” bill, that was signed by Gov. Jerry Brown in October 2017. SB 54 prohibits state and local law enforcement from asking anyone about their immigration status, among many other things.

The man is nothing more than a community agitator, and an idiot. Look at his profile on wikipedia. His condolences are a bit late and are only meant to assuage his guilt.

This is worse than Clinton's fake tears at Ron Brown's funeral.

Probably a staffer tweeted that out thinking it was appropriate.

Sort of hard to say oops....my bad...after the fact...

Hard to believe DeLeon would be that stupid to do on his own...

Idiot Democrats live in a dream world. They think they can do no wrong. They’re not responsible for any of their actions.

Look at Molly Tibbetts mother. She is so out of touch with reality that after her daughters death she brings in an illegal immigrant related to her daughters killer.

I think I’ll start selling poisonous deadly cobra snakes to Democrats. After the snake kills them, I’ll send a sympathy card and a coupon for another snake half off to their survivors.

It would be exciting to have police across California tell the world they will not protect any politician that voted for such laws.

I wonder how many liberals would quake and insist on repeal, then?

De Leon admitted on the floor of the senate in March 2017, he helped illegals in his family come and stay here. No DOJ or FBI investigation. No prison time. He believes in the La Reconquista movement, taking over the southwest by illegal immigration from Mexico. Now he is complicit in killing an officer. He deserves what the officer got and so does Brown, Becera, the mayor of Oakland, Pelosi and Schumer.

I think we passed bad and very bad, and we have now moved into the range of evil.

The leaders on the left are for the most part evil, a few are just bad people, but I think the majority are evil. So you know it’s time to act accordingly.

This sanctuary state and city nonsense has to end. Since when is it legal to harbor criminals and subvert federal law?

de Leon is trying to stay ahead of the flack which is sure to come Monday in many directions. From my perspective this condolence here is damage control, a 2nd rate stunt...Another murdered cop brought to us by, directed and produced by pro-illegal alien, Kevin de Leon.

This de Leon guy is the one pushed these restrictive laws/policies which just got another cop killed.

Yep. I don’t believe for a second, that he actually means what he says. I hope the family told him to go F himself.
