Germany's military is drawing up plans to recruit nationals from other European countries as part of a drive to beef up the armed forces.

Defence Minister Ursula von der Leyen announced plans to recruit Poles, Italians and Romanians, magazine Der Spiegel said, citing a ministry document.

The German military, or Bundeswehr, has stepped up its recruitment efforts as part of a broader reset following Russia's annexation of Crimea from Ukraine in 2014. Last year, Germany said it would increase the size of its armed forces to 198,000 active soldiers by 2024 from 179,000.

First, you will have to display German language ability (speak, read, write, comprehension). Second, you have to go and show physical ability to pass the entry test. Third, you have to take the general intelligence test. Other than perhaps getting 200 to 300 recruits from Austria...I doubt if you see more than forty from the remaining 26 EU member states. It’s a poorly conceived idea for a serious recruitment problem.

I’m getting to the point where I feel Western Civilization might benefit from having the Muslims wipe out the Germans. Germans can’t stop themselves from trying to conquer the world. Whatever gene makes that happen is probably best eliminated from the pool.

There are hundreds of thousands of residents in Germany from other European countries. Let's say that approx. 10% of those are men and women in the desired age group.

Their intelligence will generally be higher than that of native Germans, as will their general physical fitness ("making it" in a foreign country requires results in a "positive Auslese" - then add to that their multilingualism).

I think that it's an excellent measure (though additional measures will, of course, be necessary).

Not like the Krauts haven’t done this before. Turks in WW1 and Africans. Poles, Latvians, Estonians, Lithuanians, Finns, Danes and Romanians in WW2.Hell, they even had Frenchies fighting for them.

Some people may think that, but the reality is totally different. If you as some Islamic migrant had passed all of the language basic requirements (B1), that’s not going to be enough real proficiency for a military slot (you will need B2 and possibly even C1). If you can comprehend and operate at that level of B2/C1...why in the world would you limit yourself to being a poorly-paid German Army guy?

As for the intelligence tests....if you wiggled around and found some easier method to allow them entry....then you’d have to go and accept marginal German citizens (with a poor educational situation) to take and pass the same tests. There’s zero interest in getting a dumbed-down group of recruits (even if they were Germans themselves).

A lot of this issue is that once they went to the volunteer Army...they had to pressed hard to pay a more realistic salary, and that has barely occurred. Generally, in the first year...your salary per month is 1,950 Euro (before taxation). Taxes and deductions take out near 40-percent of that. If you make it to corporal...your salary goes up to 2,200 Euro a month.

Based on what I’ve seen the past decade...a fair number of German recruits will come in....do three to five years and get out because salary levels tend to work better outside of the military, and by that point, they have a certification or two for job-skills.

If you follow the German military news....there’s almost monthly some new logistical scandal that has developed and military folks are standing there and shaking their heads because so many tanks, aircraft, or ships....that are ‘hanger-queens’.

It doesn’t need to be that complicated. They will simply engage in systematic fraud to make the unqualified qualified, with the same political goal-seeking mentality that got Hogg into Harvard. The end is all that matters to these people and no rule will stand in their way.

Now that’s a really very poor idea. Germans, and their English Saxon brethren, have advanced the civilization of every nation to which they have migrated, especially the United States of America. Only one other pool of gene heritage has greater fighters, and that is the Irish, who would rule the world were it not for the invention of whiskey.

The comical side to Harvard and Hogg....if you went back to January of 2018, there was zero chance of Hogg ever being accepted to Harvard...mostly based on his SAT scores. As average goes....he’s ultra-average. But with that one shooting, Hogg advanced onto some mythical plateau and will get a Harvard degree, as a pretty average student.

Hogg was rejected from a number of uncompetitive colleges before this. This was a 100% political acceptance. Only way he graduates is if someone else takes his classes for him.
