If obama had a son
Exactly. Even though at the time it was not clearly unwise, and even though a later court held it was not automatically a conflict of interest, it was at the least professional recklessness - not just on his part but of the rest of the bench that allowed him to participate in its decision.
Thanks for the info.
“Mr. Abu-Jamal will spend the rest of his life in prison without the possibility of parole, said Seth Williams, the district attorney for Philadelphia.”
Well, so much for that.
his son probably wouldn't be seven years older than his father ...
SPJNK x 100.
what twisted logic lets this animal remain alive 37 years after they fact. ?
Hell no. If I remember right, 5 people saw him kill the cop including a taxi driver who saw the whole thing from start to finish. He also never denied killing Faulkner. But if you are black and convert to Islam then apparently the left thinks you are innocent.
He wasn't the prosecutor - Rendell was.
He was a judge during one of the later appeals.
His appeals ran out in 1990 but Pennsylvania had a governor (Casey) who would not sign a death warrant and the first death warrant was signed by Tom Ridge in 1995. More appeals and the second death warrant was signed by Tom Ridge in 1999.
Can’t they open up the back gate of this prison, let him escape and give him a 500 yard head start, just to make it sporting?
Marc Lamont Hill isnt Just An Admirer of Cop-Killer Mumia Abu-Jamal, Hes His Publisher
Marc Lamont Hill, Sept 7, 2009:
"I am thrilled to announce that Mumia Abu-Jamal has joined the Barbershop as a weekly contributor!! His column, Live From Death Row, will appear every Wednesday starting next week.
Mumia Abu-Jamal is one of the worlds most celebrated journalists, freedom fighters, and political prisoners. Since his early days in Philadelphia, Mumia was an active member of the Black freedom struggle. From his award-winning journalism to his involvement with the Black Panther Party, Mumia has devoted his life to Black liberation. Wrongfully incarcerated since 1981 for the murder of Officer Daniel Faulkner, Mumia has continued to place a spotlight on various forms of injustice around the globe through his numerous columns, commentaries, and books. Mumia has generated international support for his own case, which has been one of the most glaring and repugnant reflections of the criminal (in)justice system."--Marc Lamont Hill

And a former Black Panther.
If there’s such a thing as “former” with that group.
White people be glad...
I WANT HIM TO DIE SO I CAN WATCH THE OBAMAS AND CLINTONS AND MAXINE AND FARAKHAN AT HIS FUNERAL.
And “know-it-all” (idiot) Bill O’Reily had him on as a regular guest.
Yeah, I recognized the name.
People that stupid should not be given public platforms.
That "police officer" had a name: Lt. Daniel Faulkner. Notice that Wesley's name (his fake name anyway -- "Mumia's" real name is Wesley Cook) is mentioned. But in libland, the victim always seems to get lost.
