WASHINGTON — After months of negotiations, lawmakers in the House and Senate have reached an agreement on Wednesday on legislation that would address how sexual harassment claims are dealt with in Congress, it was announced Wednesday.
The legislation would hold members of Congress personally liable for awards and settlements stemming from harassment and related retaliation they personally commit, including those who leave office. They can no longer pay out settlements with taxpayer funds and would be required to foot the bill within 90 days or their wages could be garnished.

Who was responsible for starting the fund?
How and why did it come to exist?
Should be retroactive with names and the actual crime.
And if it is during an Election Season they need to be CRIMINALLY CHARGED WITH A FELONY, just like Mueller did with Cohen.
Hush payments are perfectly legal as long as the taxpayers are footing the bills
In the case of Congress, which faces re-election every two years, it’s essentially ALWAYS campaign time, so they can’t make the claim their involvement didn’t occur in order to help themselves win re-election.
Congress will move to work-arounds unless strictly prohibited:
1) Buy “sexual harassment” insurance policies, with the huge premiums paid by the taxpayers as “office expenses”.
2) Arrange for third “investors” (lobbyists, etc.) to pay for them.
3) Combo’s and Others TBD.
Unless both are banned, the new arrangement is a fraud. The bums will never pay themselves. It’s not as if they are in Congress for public service.

No. If they go after President Trump for making 'hush money' payments to Stormy Daniels, but not declaring those payments as campaign contributions, then EVERY SINGLE ONE of the lawmakers who used this slush fund IS GUILTY OF USING GOVERNMENT FUNDS FOR THEIR PERSONAL CAMPAIGNS.

Wanna stop this crap? Ask every member of the House and Senate if the member is party to any non-disclosure agreements. A refusal to answer should be considered an admission. Then vote accordingly, dammit.
