Rod Rosenstein WILL NOT ALLOW Gen. Flynn Interrogator Joe Pientka To Testify — Despite His Reported

As TGP previously reported in February, according to Mike Cernovich, McCabe altered far left FBI investigator Peter Strzok’s 302 notes on his interview with General Michael Flynn.

And then McCabe destroyed the evidence.

In early May Senator Grassley demanded the FBI and DOJ produce the transcript of Flynn’s intercepted calls with Russian Ambassador Kislyak and the 302’s by May 25th.

The DOJ and FBI ignored him.

Grassley then concluded his letter by reiterating his request to schedule an interview with the second special agent who was present at Flynn’s interrogation, Joe Pientka, after push back from the DOJ.

Not “despite his willingness” but “because of his willingness to defend Flynn”. We now know Flynn was railroaded. Comey said he figured if he interviewed Flynn on Jan 24, 2017 - the first few days of the new administration - they wouldn’t have been well organized. This was his calculation, to get at Flynn. McCabe told Flynn he shouldn’t have or need his own lawyer present. The FBI had these intercepted transcripts and began to interview him for a criminal investigation without advising him of his rights, indeed persuading him that there was no reason for him to be on guard.

They want to hold the line with this Flynn prosecution. If the judge tosses the charges, which I pray he does, that punches a big hole in the Mueller investigation. Misconduct on the part of Mueller is only the beginning of the problem, but the public embarrassment of having it exposed and thus all other investigations re-examined and called into question will unravel the main purposes of the entire enterprise. They are protecting their power and want to weaken or remove all threats, mop up and cover up their illegal and unethical behavior, distract from their crimes and collusion to fix the election.

All the “crimes” they are alleging and investigating against Trump, they themselves are guilty of. Time for America to wake up and make things right. All these corrupt people need to go down hard. Harder than others, for abuse of power is worse than most crimes ordinary people are charged with every day IMO. No mercy for dirty cops in my book.

Re: “The DOJ and FBI ignored him.”

Hell, I would do the same if I were Rosenstein. Nobody ever got in trouble for ignoring Congress. The GOP could have impeached Rosenstein, they could have zeroed out his budget. Hell they could have literally abolished the DOJ or FBI in an afternoon.

But the Repub congress did nothing for two years. Now they have lost Congress. If I was Rod I would flip Grassley the finger and go enjoy Christmas and wait for Nancy to be sworn in and for Schiff to take over the judiciary committee.

Obama weaponized the DOJ and the FBI just like he did the IRS.

Re: “Trump can only do so much without support in Congress.”

Trump is the Chief Executive Officer of the Department of Justice and the FBI.

He can release any document, any time he wants to.

True.

I can only assume Trump is holding his fire until the 2020 campaign, though many releases may be too late then.

Probably best to ask Hannity.

What is it that Trump can’t do without Congress? The new House is likely to impeach him anyway.

But what’s up with Whittaker? Are they blackmailing him or is he otherwise not what we thought he was?

This has nothing to do with GOPee Congress and rests squarely on the shoulders of our President and HIS DOJ. The DOJ calls Grand Juries and indicts not Congress. There has been more than enough evidence out there for 2 years to convene a Grand Jury at this point and the DOJ is sitting in it.

2020? IMO, game of chicken likely ends this year:

1.) Mueller team can’t comply and not risk revealing misconduct/obstruction of justice/abuse of power/entrapment/civil rights violations (spying). That’s why Comey, Mueller team over past couple days have been peddling “normal” procedures were followed in media.

2.) On the other hand, Mueller team must comply with Judge Sullivan’s order or the judge will bring down the hammer on them. Remember, Sullivan has no tolerance for prosecutorial misconduct and had ordered a prosecutorial misconduct investigation in Ted Stevens case.

Wasn’t he supposed to release the CISA interacted and all texts between Strozk and page? What ever came of any of that and why aren’t we hot on the Executive to get that done? I think many here realize how ineffectual the DOJ under our President has become and he could change it in a nanosecond. I feel many here won’t direct their malcontent and anger towards the administration and point fingers at Congress instead. Why not? Their the easier target. The DOJ could seat a Grand Jury tomorrow, why haven’t they? Oh that’s right I think I read somewhere in the Constitution they must obtain permission from Congress before doing so. That’s right I forgot
