Who don’t the constant complainers whine about?

Allying with only the Perfect means you get <10% of the voters. Great strategy, if constant losses are what you are aiming for.

Any Republican is better than every Demon.

Wrong target. I’ve voted party line GOP my entire life. And what did that get me? Romney and his ilk “voting for the wife” to the benefit of Hillary Criminal and her Constitution destroying SCOTUS.

Should Trump not be in the WH in 2022 and Rubio on my ballot I will certainly be “voting for my wife.”What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Rubio’s abandonment of POTUS while he is under treasonous assault, the GOP platform we voted for and his frequent support of the Mueller Coup is totally unforgivable.

I can assure you millions of GOP base voters feel the same as I do. This is a time for choosing. If the Party of Lincoln dies, so be it. Like the BSA it is being driven to its death by a traitorous fifth column.

Intersetingly, you attack the grass roots with these “perfect” smears instead of progressive corportist GOPe elites? Why is that? I’m not expecting an answer because you don’t have one other than “purity” smears, obviously.

Any weakening of the GOP will work to the detriment of our nation. This isn’t the 1850s when the Democrat Party was destroying itself and popular opinion strongly behind the policies of the GOP wrt regard to slavery expansion. It is comparatively unified by Trump hatred and we have no similar issue.

No split in the GOP should occur until the Democrat Party is split, ignoring this is a disaster waiting to happen. Eight years of anti-Americanism is enough.

I did not see McCain’s vote as a finger to the American people. I see it as a final finger to the man who said he was NOT a hero for surviving 5 years of torture and degradation with his sanity intact. And it is hard to not get caught if your plane is shot down and you had the courage to be flying combat missions in the first place. Personal note: My late husband was a combat veteran of the Korean War, my son has done 21 years of 82nd Airborne and Special Forces and his son recently finished a year at the Monterrey Language School while in the Army.

When my husband was slowly dying of Alzheimers, we received good reasonably rapid care at the local VA hospital. This was 1999 to 2005, so the conditions may now be worse with all the Middle East war casualties. I don’t have contacts that give me a sense of what the public is paying for health care. I have insurance through his teaching job in Virginia with Kaiser Permanente, $300 a month. I don’t know if this is cheap or expensive. Every 3 months I get my thyroid medication for $15 and once a year get my blood drawn and seen for a while by my assigned doctor for a $10 copay. I also get occasional mammograms and glaucoma testing for a $10 copay. Fortunately I don’t have any significant health problems, so have no idea how much more expensive it will get with them in the future.

Aside from what I said about limiting corporate tax deductibility for outrageously high salaries, we the consumer have a responsibility to live sane and mostly sober lives. When I walk into the KP building and see a woman weighing 300 pounds, it really frosts me to think I am probably paying higher monthly rate because of people who eat junk food like pigs, smoke, drink heavily, etc.

Chief Justice Roberts was found in a state of coma shortly after the ruling...

(Okay, just kidding...)
**************************************
You’re kidding? Really? Has Roberts actually been seen in public since the Texas Judge’s ruling? ;-)

“And yes you can have a 0% tax. Look it up.”

hmm, this seems a little too glib. if you are making a specific claim it seems only fair to ask for a specific citation in the statutes (just to remove all possibility of ambiguity).

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/glib

glib

1a : marked by ease and informality : NONCHALANT
b : showing little forethought or preparation : OFFHAND
glib answers
c : lacking depth and substance : SUPERFICIAL
glib solutions to knotty problems
2 archaic : SMOOTH, SLIPPERY
3 : marked by ease and fluency in speaking or writing often to the point of being insincere or deceitful

for good measure i looked up another term which seems as if it could be relevant

https://definitions.uslegal.com/c/color-of-law/

color of law

Color of law refers to an act done under the appearance of legal authorization, when in fact, no such right existed. It applies when a person is acting under real or apparent government authority. The term is used in the federal Civil Rights Act, which gives citizens the right to sue government officials and their agents who use their authority to violate rights guaranteed by federal law.

The following is from the Civil Rights Act:

“Every person who, under color of any statute, ordinance, regulation, custom, or usage, of any State or Territory, subjects, or causes to be subjected, any citizen of the United States or other person within the jurisdiction thereof to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured by the Constitution and laws, shall be liable to the party injured in an action at law, suit in equity, or other proper proceeding for redress.”
