Continuing the story of the Conner family without its matriarch was a risky proposition, and, thankfully for ABC, it worked. Spinoff series "The Conners" has done well and, not surprisingly, ABC would like a second installment.
I hear negotiations are underway with the core cast for a 13-episode Season 2. That would be up from the 11 episodes in its current first season and the 9 for the lone season of the "Roseanne" revival. The cast of "The Conners" is led by "Roseanne" alums including Sara Gilbert, who also serves as an executive producer, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, and Lecy Goranson. As has been the case with the "Roseanne" revival and "The Conners" first season, there are issues with Metcalf and Goodman's busy schedules that need to be worked out but I hear everyone is willing to return and talks are going smoothly.
Goodman, Metcalf and Gilbert reportedly were paid $375,000 an episode for Season 1 of "The Conners," up significantly from about $250,000 an episode each got for the new "Roseanne." I hear the trio is expected to get another salary bump for Season 2 of "The Conners." All parties involved declined comment,

Propaganda. The media can’t let it fail less it appear that Trump’s followers are “winning” so, like Dick’s, like Murphy Brown, like Target - all of whom lie and spin and say everything is fine and dandy - only later does the truth come out where things are doing badly.

They had some of the higher ratings for a network sitcom out there. Doesn’t mean it’s a watchable show. Makes you wonder how much they can fudge the ratings numbers.

ROSEANNE RATINGS were 11-12 million viewers
It’s only being extended to make it seem like Roseanne and pro-Trump viewers are not needed. Ratings are down bigly
And Vallerie Jarret still looks kinds like a monkey from Planet of the apes.
Well, they cancel successful shows for political correctness, why wouldn’t they KEEP a show no one is watching, for the same reason.
Havent seen this garbage since they got rid of Roseanne..the show is NOTHING without her. The ratings SUCK but they will keep producing it as a big F U to Roseanne and Trump supporters

They can’t allow it to fail just like they couldn’t allow “Last Man Standing” to succeed. It’s about ideology and “Trump”, not about business.
Jarrett looks more like a POTA character than most public figures. Roseanne nailed it.
Are ads still being sold for the show?
Are the actors, producers, directors and crew still cashing their checks from the show?
I'd love to see Fox move "Last Man Standing" to the same time period as "The Conners" to see how they compete head-to-head.
Well, if they can get money from advertisers. Good for them.
All you need to add is some oversized coffee mugs to that table and you have all you need for a daytime talk show. Complete with cuck beta males.
