When Professor Christine Blasey-Ford testified against the Supreme Court nomination of then-Judge Brett Kavanaugh, my very first impression was that her voice sounded fake. She sounded like a scared little girl, her voice tremulous, creating an impression of sadness and vulnerability – just the thing to create sympathy. I immediately wondered if this was some sort of act, or if her mental state was somehow altered for her performance on national television. As a former professor myself, I wondered how on Earth she could command a classroom with that scared little girl voice.

And let’s say that exactly what happened to her at 15 happened to me at 15. (Only it was much earlier and far, far worse and frequent, but let’s just say.). SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED TO ME SINCE THEN (like to everyone in the world) that I would barely remember such a short party incident. I might have been upset that night, or the next day, or even a week. But to act like she did 30 years later is FAKE.
Or else nothing bad has ever happened to her since.

Testifying to Congress was such great therapy and she raked in close to 2 mega bucks ( that we know about) so now even her deathly fear of flying won’t impede on her extended vacation traveling to scenic tropical island get aways.
And there is always the salutary emotional effect of being financially able to kick out the tenants she has been sharing her house with to make illegal, unreported, tax free income on the side
Her fake fear of flying gave her the time to train on a fake voice to pretend she had experienced the fake trauma of having a high school boy make a pass at her when she was a high school girl? And the #FakeNews media covered the act far more seriously (and with zero critical thought) than they covered the multiple actual rapes by their beloved Bill Clinton. I’m shocked! Shocked, I say!
