Christine Blasey Ford made her first public remarks since her September testimony at the Senate hearing of then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
During a Monday ceremony, Blasey Ford introduced Rachael Denhollander as the recipient of Sports Illustrated's Inspiration of the Year Award. Denhollander, a lawyer and former gymnast, was the first woman to publicly accuse former USA Gymnastics and Michigan State doctor Larry Nassar of sexual assault.

Ford said she had to move at least four times to escape death threats, and had to hire a security detail to protect her and her family after testifying against Kavanaugh during his Senate hearings. Kavanaugh has denied the allegations.

Exactly right. That’s one of the (many) things I love about Clarence Thomas. He has never shown the slightest sign of being bullied into trying to prove that his critics were all wrong about him. He doesn’t care whether they hate him. K would do well to take a lesson from him. I’m afraid K is a bit too much the ‘frat guy’ who wants to be liked.
