This week, we have seen how the networks avoided the connection of Les Gilet Jaunes or Yellow Vest protests in Paris to the global warming ideology promoted by French President Emmanuel Macron (which led him to impose a fuel tax that he was forced to back away from). However, another bit of misreporting from much of the mainstream media involves properly identifying who it is during these Yellow Vest protests that are doing the looting and desecration of monuments with graffiti.
Fortunately we have an alternative Canadian news source, The Rebel, which has reported from Paris on who the perpetrators are. Their revelation is something you won't see in much of the rest of the media in either Canada or the U.S.A. which have left the impression that the lootings and descrations were done by the regular Yellow Vests.

There aren’t enough Antifa thugs to fill the streets of Paris like this. France has a big problem when it’s the middle class that revolts. This could be the end for Macron.

There USED TO BE a class of news people called REPORTERS. Their sole job was to report on events as soberly and factually as possible. It was/is a very difficult task and many such reports needed the services of copy editors and proof-readers to get the final product correct. Later would come the senior people with titles like commentators or editorialists, who would add a clearly identified opinion to such news events.
Now the LEFT-infested, nay, DOMINATED, ‘schools of journalism’ in academia, have acknowledged the difficulty of separating personal bias from news events. Their solution? Let it all hangout, be biased, especially to the LEFT! The LEFT is your support system and PROGRESSIVISM, an alternate name for the LEFT, needs you to convince the sheeple that LEFT is right and RIGHT is Fascism, Racism, Patriarchalism and all other bad things!
To that end, all 1st person ‘reporters’ are naturally wearing blinders so that they will ignore any and all fact unsuited to the themes desired by their masters. When the ‘reporters’ are already subordinated, what need is there for ‘The Ministry of Truth”?

I think you are right.
What is interesting, that I haven’t read anywhere, it the UN (uh French) government didn’t react as near as strongly against the Muslim (uh immigrant) protesters in earlier riots.
Somebody posted on another article, on another site that in their view the government wasn’t as concerned about global warming as it was about obtaining the additional tax revenue generated by the diesel tax. That struck me as ringing true as well. I had never thought of it that way, I thought global warming was was mainly about control. The governments have pledged and spent too much money and are short on revenue. Global warming is just the boogieman to justify high taxes to the masses to save the world. It used to be witch doctors and now we have moved to multivariate analysis.

The Anifa movement is neither anarchist nor anti-fascist. They are predators and opportunistic modern-day brownshirts. Their tactics and their ideology differs very little from their fascist compatriots of Germany in the Thirties.
The DNC talking points / media shills / Macron regime are building a meme -- that the peaceful protests (they can do, I can do it) were brought on by the nationalist, populist President Donald Trump.

My Grandfather went through the Russian Revolution. They were poor peasant farmers and when the Bolsheviks came through their town they took all their food and livestock. The Bols kept yelling “For the people. For the children.”

There doesn’t have to be. All they have to do is infiltrate and mix in with the yellow vests, do their damage and pursue their goals under cover of the larger movement.
