The state has also been overrun with liberal’s from the north too. When they started allowing the DMV to register voters it set the state up for massive voter fraud. Then the thousands of felons the Dems are voting for. It all adds up, and there is very little that can be done about it. Outside of the feds coming in, and we know the national Gop doesn’t care.
The last 3 or more statewide elections the Dems have gone up about 200,000 votes each time. Call me very skeptical that is actually happening. This all started the first time Obama ran. When the Gop was in control they should have stopped or not passed motor voter. They didn’t have enough sense to do it. They wanted to play nice.

Herring has already made it explicitly clear he will not enforce any laws that do not fit his commie mind-set. The Communists have had a remarkable success is pro-actively reaching out to the hunting crowd (which is HUGE in rural VA) assuring them that the Dems “are not coming for your hunting rifles.” And the hunters eat it up. At least enough of them to influence elections. Given the explosion of the fed bureaucracy and the accompanying beltway bandits there is no turning back for the Old Dominion. I expect statewide races to settle in at about 58-42 communist, one chamber of the legislature might stay Rep for another decade or so. Our rural county went Rep 2:1, but NoVa is an insoluble cancer electorally.
You must not live in Virginia. Go to the demographics on the state webpage. Look at it year my year. Immigration and illegal immigration killed the state. The service industry in NOVA are almost exclusively foreigners.
I have worked immigrant areas. The immigrants voted over 65% conservative anti-George Ryan establishment when I worked them. When I moved out and my successor worked them, they voted over 87% for the small government conservatives when the establishment Republicans were united with the Teachers Uniion Democrats. I know for a fact that 100% of immigrant and anchor baby Hispanics voted conservative Republican. The only Hispanic who didn’t was a Puerto Rican lady on welfare.
In many areas, immigrants do vote Democrat. That is because Republicans and Conservatives write them off and seem unfriendly to them. Your attitude is #1.

Illegal immigrant voting and green card voting is pervasive in northern Virginia. They don’t vote Republican.
Northern Virginia counties are as democrat and corrupt as any other big city - Chicago, Baltimore, New York, Los Angeles. They are always the last to report numbers so they know how many votes to add in the count.
Virginia went from solid red to solid blue in about 10 years, thanks to vote fraud by illegals and non citizen green card holders. The Republican elites who run the party let it happen, following the orders of their donors and the Chamber of Commerce.
And Georgia, Texas, Colorado and a few others are going the same way.
The common thread? Illegal immigration.

It is context, CONTEXT, prick. The discussion was about Virginia, and what I said was about Virginia today, and and comparing Virginia the way it used to be, and not about all battles and all times in world history.
This is not just Northern Virginia. Dave Brat lost his race in a district that includes no part of NOVA. There’s a bigger problem at play here than just DC suburbs and the VA GOP is too stupid to see it.
I am proud to be a landowner and taxpayer many times over in a state that really has abandoned the ideals of limited government. Cops and freeloaders are everywhere. Yes, it’ll get worse... The left controls the schools. But it’s not Maryland yet.
