Remember:
Barr was one of the leaders of the impeachment of President Bill Clinton.
As U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia his office prosecuted state and local officials, members of the Medellin drug cartel, and got a perjury indictment on then-sitting Republican Congressman Pat Swindall.
Barr was president of the Southeastern Legal Foundation,[2] an Atlanta-based law firm and policy center that litigates in support of "limited government, individual economic freedom, and the free enterprise system"
In 2002, he was described by Bill Shipp in an OnlineAthens.com article as "the idol of the gun-toting, abortion-fighting, IRS-hating hard right wing of American politics". During his tenure, Barr was regarded as one of the most conservative members of Congress.
Barr is a staunch proponent of gun rights, and is opposed to any and all efforts to restrict the ownership of guns.
Barr advocates the repeal of the 16th Amendment, which gives the U.S. Congress the power to levy an income tax without apportionment. As an alternative, he proposes a form of consumption tax, such as the FairTax
Barr sat on the Board of Directors of the National Rifle Association from 2001 to 2007.
I think in the long run he may make a good AG.
Trump nominated William Barr, not Bob Barr.
IT IS NOT BOB BARR.
