This proposed bill is almost as bad as the 'red flag' law where anyone can turn anyone in for 'unacceptable behavior' to have their second amendment rights taken from them. Who will get to determine what 'hate speech' is? What 'racist speech' is? Hyperventilating hysterical liberal snowflakes that are offended by everything?

I would not be surprised if this gets to SCOTUS and is thrown out 9-0.

Violation of 2nd and 4th amendments, for starters.

anyone wanting to buy a pistol or renew their permit will be subject to a review of their internet history and social media accounts going back up to three years.

A law written by someone who doesn't understand how internet searches work.

Exactly how is someone supposed to turn over three years of internet history? Am I supposed to turn over my PC, Laptop, phone, and any other devices for physical inspection?

any posting you make on the Internet i guess- likely facebook, twitter, snapchat etc- NY is claiming that several of the recent school tragedies were committed by people who were posting violent messages, racist messages etc for years- so now they want police to scour the Internet for any ‘violent content’ (as determined by hyperventilating hysterical snowflake liberals)

the NY safe act violated people’s constitutional rights, but NY’s SC found it was ‘legal’ somehow- in their eyes anyways- cuomo put forth the safe act under the guise of ‘imminent need’ in order to ‘save lives’- and they will likely try that with this bill as well-
